A charming 1st floor front line apartment. It is situated in a very quiet part of the old town, with an open garden opposite, and very fine sea views as far as the port. The apartment has been stylishly renovated by an artist who has retained the special features of these old buildings. It has an exceptionally large living room, with a small kitchen and bathroom and one double bedroom with a window onto an enclosed courtyard. The flat is very light and airy with windows the length of the living area and kitchen and French doors onto a balcony.

Coast/Beach
20 metres to lovely sandy blue flag beach and there is a pretty harbour and port at the far end of the beach. There are numerous excellent restaurants along the sea front. The old town has a unique character and history and there are often street markets and festivals taking place there. The most famous being the Moors and Christian’s festival in the last week of July.
Special interest holidays
Villajoyosa is well located for all sorts of special interest holidays. Guests have stayed in the apartment who enjoy the variety of superb restaurants all within walking distance, its proximity to Benidorm with its great shopping, nightlife and theme parks, the closeness of the mountains for hiking/cycling and just getting away from it all, the unspoilt nature of the town, the Valor chocolate factory and cafe/gift shop to name but a few of the attractions.
Travel
Alicante Airport is 35 mins drive away. Car hire is unnecessary as all facilities are a few minutes walk away and there are plenty of taxis, a train station in the main town and buses if you wish to explore further afield. Cars can be hired locally or at the airport if you do wish to explore the inland countryside and villages.
Distances
Benidorm is only approx 8 miles away if you want a very lively place to visit, Alicante is about 20 miles away. There is a chocolate factory in Villajoyosa which will take you on a tour of the manufacturing process and the famous Valor chocolate is irresistible!
Further details
In the newer main town area there is a wide variety of shops, including shoe and clothes shops, numerous banks, health food shops, gymnasium and a recently built auditorium for music etc. There is a weekly market selling clothes, household effects, food, drink and crafts and there is a daily food market for fresh produce.
Booking notes
A non-refundable 40% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The balance of the rental plus cleaning fee is to be paid on arrival. Any breakages must be paid for.
