Further details
The Villa is situated about 5 minutes drive from Nerja Town and beach, enjoying spectacular mountain and sea views, with the pretty Village of Frigiliana as a backdrop. Nerja is a beautiful unspoilt town, built mainly in the Andalucian style, whilst the centre retains the characteristics of the original fishing village. Some of the buildings in the two main squares are over 300 years old, the new buildings having been sympathetically constructed in traditional styles to maintain the original charm. Off the main square, projecting out into the Mediterranean sea, is the Balcon de Europa. The famous Nerja Caves, some of the largest in Europe, and the City of Granada, with the Alhambra Palace, are well worth a visit. There is an abundance of restaurants in the Town and surrounding areas, together with cafes, bars and shops. During the summer evenings there are market stalls, artists/musicians and dancers. There are many local markets on varying days offering local produce/crafts.
