The apartment is situated just a 10 minute stroll from the beach, bars, restaurants and shops. There are several supermarkets across the road for all your day to day needs. It is within a popular complex of similar apartments, which boasts a large communal pool surrounded by a grass area with sunbeds and showers provided. There are several golf courses nearby, the closest being Playa Serena which is just 5 minutes from the apartment, whilst La Envia and Almerimar are both within a 20 minute drive.

Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with twin beds, fitted wardrobes and ceiling fan. There is a gas heater for use during the winter months. |
| Bathrooms: | Bathroom with bath/shower over, wc and wash hand basin. |
| Kitchen: | Fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, crockery and utensils. |
| Living Rooms: | Spacious lounge/diner which opens onto a balcony. The lounge contains a double sofa bed and has a TV and DVD player. There is a ceiling fan and gas heating for the winter months. The balcony is equipped with a table & chairs. |
| Other: | Our private, secluded roof terrace is accessed via a set of stairs and is perfect for a spot of sunbathing as it is not overlooked. It is equipped with sun loungers and a shower for cooling off. There is also a retractable washing line. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Bedding and towels are supplied. Please bring your own towels for use around the pool and at the beach. The apartment will be cleaned once you have checked out. |

Accessibility
The apartment is on the first floor accessed via steps so is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Outside
The large pool is surrounded by a grass area.
Coast/Beach
The apartment is approximately 500 metres from the beach - just a short 10 minute stroll. The 10km beach is uncrowded and has a wide paved promenade along its entire length. Open showers are provided at regular intervals along the beach. There are watersports available during the summer months.
Golf
There is golf available at the luxury Playa Serena 18-hole golf course, just 5 minutes from the apartment. There are further courses at La Envia and Almerimar approximately 20 minutes drive away.
Playa Serena is an 18-hole, par 72 course featuring bunkers and natural lakes, making it a beautiful but challenging course. There is a pro shop and all equipment may be hired. The Clubhouse has changing facilities, a bar, restaurant, lounge and terrace overlooking the course.
Travel
Regular flights from the UK via Easyjet and Ryanair. The nearest airport is at Almeria approximately 30 minutes from the apartment. We can offer a pick up service from the airport or you can easily hire a car there.
The beaches, restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance so a car is not necessary unless you want to go further afield. A bus service from outside the apartment takes you into the shopping centre of Roquetas or on to Almeria city.
Further details
There is a real variety of things to see and do in the area. From wonderful beaches to watersports, historical sites to shopping, there is something for everyone.
As well as sun, sea and sand there are plenty of sports to take part in, such as watersports, tennis, horse riding and of course golf.
For those who like shopping there is the Gran Plaza shopping centre in the centre of Roquetas, or many open air markets in the surrounding villages.
For those with an historical interest, a visit to the castle at Roquetas, Almeria's 16th century cathedral or the Alhambra Palace in Granada are worthwhile.
Bird-watchers have a treat in store at the Las Marinas salt marsh and Punta Entinas beaches a few miles south of Roquetas, where flamingos, egrets and other birds gather at certain times of year.
The desert around Roquetas used to be used to film many Spaghetti Westerns and still is to this day. There is a Western based theme park and animal zoo at Mini-Hollywood.
The Mario water park is also a great day out for all the family. For those more daring there is also a nudist beach.
