Casa Rosa is a unique country cottage situated in the hamlet of Huerta de Ranea in the municipality of Comares, close also to the towns of Riogordo and Benamargosa and 50 minutes from the airport at Malaga. 1 hour 40 minutes from Granada airport. Available to let for bed and breakfast are two bedrooms one with two single beds, the other a double en-suite. There is a lemon and orange grove with over 30 trees and plant filled patios to relax on and enjoy. Casa Rosa can be used as a base for venturing out to explore the great Andalucian cities of Malaga, Granada, Cordoba and Seville. The beach is less than an hour away and the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada about 2 hours.

Casa Rosa B&B

Casa Rosa has two bedrooms available for letting on a bed and breakfast basis.
Bedroom one is downstairs and located directly next to the bathroom. (There are two steps to gain entrance into the bedroom).This room has two twin beds and looks out onto the small back terrace with the orchard beyond.
The downstairs bathroom is fitted with a bath with shower over, sink, toilet and bidet.
The second bedroom has a double bed and is en-suite with a large shower, toilet and sink.
The dining room can seat up to 6 people but most of the year we can also eat alfresco on either of the two terraces.
There are two living rooms, they adjoin one another and can be used together or closed off for more privacy. Both have wood burning stoves and one has a TV and music equipment. Internet connection is available.

Notes on accommodation
Additional heating is available in the winter with electric radiators and fans are available in the summer. Due to the open staircase the accommodation is not suitable for young children.

Accessibility
Road access is good via mettaled and concrete roads.The access from the parking is via a short flight of steps so is unfortunately not wheel chair friendly.

Outside
Casa Rosa has three terraces, great for alfresco dining. There is a barbecue available. There is also an orchard of oranges and lemons, and a space amongst the trees for taking in the hot sunny afternoons and cooler, airy evenings.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is 45 minute drive at Torre del Mar. The beaches of Nerja can be reached in an hour.

Travel
Malaga Airport is 50 minutes drive away and Granada 1 hour 40 minutes. I would recommend car hire.

Distances
The towns of Comares, Riogordo and Benamargosa are all about 15 minutes drive away. There is a local shop just 5 minutes walk and the nearest bar/restaurant is a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk.

Further details
All of the local towns have small supermarkets and a variety of restaurants. Through the summer months swimming pools are also available at all of these towns. There is good banking facilities in all the towns.

A 10% non refundable deposit on booking. The balance may be paid on arrival by cheque or cash.A discount is available for stays of 6 nights or more.
