This house is perfectly equipped for holiday use, if you wish to stay longer than two weeks please give as much notice as possible and remember as we are close we can help with anything from where to buy your milk and bread, to helping if you need something from the well stocked pharmacy! We are here to help.
The house is suitable for children but as most Spanish houses are tiled, extra care is needed if children are used to carpets. Heating will be provided in winter.
Accessibility
The house has very good accessibility. You can usually park right outside the house, and if you can't there is plenty of parking close by. The Spanish don't mind if you park outside in the road, drop off anyone and or shopping then move on to the nearest parking space!
Outside
Large lemon tree patio off the kitchen with metal steps upto a large terrace. Garden furniture is included for you.
Coast/Beach
The Costa del Sol is an hour and half away by car. Our favourite beaches are the Costa de La Luz; around an hour and half away. We love Conil de la Frontera with its huge stretches of white clean sand, perfect for the kids! Next door to Conil you have the beaches of El Palmer, a surf paradise! Further south, Tarifa is the home of the windsurfers (lessons can be arranged!) and is about 2 hours. Other nice beaches are found at Rota and the surrounding area. Picnics can be pre booked.
Golf
Golf is within 45 mins of Olvera on good easy access roads. Antequera and Arcos de la Frontera are both within easy reach and very popular with the locals. You also have the Costa del Sol golf courses in under an hour and a half.

Further details
Olvera is one of the 14 recognised Pueblos Blancos (White Villages) of Andalucia. It is a picturesque, friendly town of about 10,000 inhabitants. The town is perched on top of a hill and can be seen for miles around. The town boasts the beautiful Neo-Classical Church (Iglesia Parroquial de Nuestra Señora de la Encarnacion) at the summit in the Plaza de Iglesia. Adjacent to the church is the completely renovated and restored Moorish Castle, together with the Castle Museum and gift shop. The local Tourist Office is also located here. The views from everywhere in Olvera are magnificent! Particularly recommended are the panoramic views from the top of the Castle. Below the Church and inside the castle walls you will discover the smallest of streets untouched by modernisation, where mules and horses are often still used for transportation! Moving down from the Church and Castle you will discover the Plaza de Andalucia which contains a magnificent modern waterfall. Above the waterfall can be found The Waterfall Gardens and a small aviary; at the top is the Mirador (‘Beautiful View’ or look out point). Come down from The Gardens back to the Plaza – try the bar in the Plaza – they serve great food and Tapas! Proceeding down through the town there are a variety of small parks, plazas and viewing points where you can sit, rest, chat, while away the time. There are friendly and welcoming bars and restaurants to suit every taste. They offer great value for money and the local cuisine is delicious everywhere! The local shops provide everything you need; from daily requirements to gifts and local produce. Check out the local olive oil with fantastic soaps and oils! We can arrange Fishing days (with UK champion) Paragliding (tandem jumps incase you don’t want to go on your own!) Tours: (including women only) of walking, cycling, mountain biking, bird watching (with top Birder!) or combine any of the above. We can also arrange pottery days, painting or drawing with a local artist.
