Golf
Golfers are spoilt for choice in this area of the Costa Del Sol. There are 3 golf courses surrounding this area within easy walking distance (with 2 more under development). San Roque and Sotogrande are to name a few with Marbella also boasting magnificent courses. For the serious golfer Valderama is only 15 mins away.
Special interest holidays
Casares del Sol is well situated to take advantage of some great hiking. There are numerous walks ranging from gentle beach strolls through some medium grade country rambles right up to some serious trekking in the local mountains. For bird watchers there is a huge variety, both indigenous and migratory, including Griffon and Egyptian Vultures, Booted and Short-toed Eagles, Spanish Imperial Eagle, Peregrine Falcon, Merlin, Bee Eaters, Collared Pratincoles, Green Sandpipers, Caspian Terns, Audouin's Gulls, Storks and Flamingoes. Whatever you like there is something for everyone in Casares del Sol.
Travel
The apartment is approx 45 mins from Malaga airport and 30 mins from Gibraltar. Superb road access from the airports along the Costa del Sol by motorway (A7/N340) or new toll road (AP7). Directions and site map are provided when booking. It is advisable to hire a car if you intend to appreciate neighbouring towns etc.
Distances
The towns of Puerto de La Duquesa, a stunning marina where you can enjoy superb international cuisine at affordable prices. 5 mins drive away.
Estepona, a bustling and atmospheric town known for its bars, restaurants and clubs is 10 mins drive away.
The cosmopolitan towns of Marbella and Puerto Banus just 20 mins

A bit more on golf: The apartment is ideally situated for golfers. In the immediate area there are several courses including the 9 hole Casares Golf & Country Club, Finca Cortesin an excellent facility 5* (a Jack Nicklaus Academy Course) and the stunning 18 hole Dona Julia course (need a buggy, good design 4*)
Casares Golf & Country Club, Dona Julia and Finca Cortesin are within 5 mins of the apartment. There are more than 20 1st class golf courses in the surrounding area including the most famous gold clubs of:
Valderam - Immaculate conditioning, a pleasure to play 5*.
Sotogrande - expensive and a great design. Trent Jones Design 5*
San Roque - Old and new course both excellent and cheaper than Sotogrande 5*.

breakages/security bond: £150 refundable deposit is payable to cover any breakages, damage etc, returned upon receipt of the keys and property inventory, approx 2 weeks after departure. Cancellation Policy: 50% charged if cancelled within 12 weeks. 100% charged if cancelled within 6 weeks.
