Jabualani (meaning 'Happiness') is set amidst natural bush which attracts impala and a wide variety of beautiful and unusual birdlife. Hippo live in the nearby dam and can be viewed safely, at close quarters, from the hippo hide. Superb facilities are only a 5 minute walk away and include main and children’s pools, restaurant and snacks, trampolines, tennis, table tennis, snooker/pool table and crazy golf. The owners, Terry & Shirley are qualified field guides who live nearby and can help tailor your holiday to suit. They can recommend good local restaurants places to visit, activities and safari guides at no extra cost. A great base from which to explore the Kruger National Park, with the Phabeni Gate only 10 minutes away.

Changeover day
You can arrive and depart on any day. Arrivals after 16.00 departures by 10am.

Outside
The area around the lodge is peaceful, and the deck quite private, overlooking an area of natural bush which abounds with wildlife (impala, velvet monkeys, mongoose, birds). The large deck extends the full length of the house and has a built-in braii and outdoor dining suite. The nearby residents' pool is quiet and is equipped with comfortable sun loungers.
Coast/Beach
The coast is a 2 hour drive south.
Golf
The house is on a 9 hole, 18 tee course, voted top ten in South Africa. You can also play at Sable River Sun (1km), White River (50km), inside Kruger Park at Skukuza (70km) and at Leopard Creek (80km).
Travel
A car is essential for travelling in the resort at night and to drive on safari or to local atrractions. Hazyview is 400kms from Johannesburg International Airport, a pleasant 5 hour drive, or take the connecting flight to Kruger Mpumalanga International airport in White River and drive 50kms.
Distances
The resort is only 10 mins from the Phabeni gate into the Kruger National Park, the largest wild animal reserve in South Africa. Pilgrims Rest, the Blyde River Canyon, and the stunning scenery of the Panorama Route are an easy drive away. Mohoholo Animal Rehabilitation Centre and the Cheetah Breeding Project (1 hour away) are well worth a visit for a hands-on wildlife experience.
Further details
The house is 1km from Hazyview which has a full range of shops, banks and services. There are half a dozen excellent restaurants within a 10 minute drive. Within 5km are a great range of activites - white water rafting, Africa's longest cable trail, horse riding, quad biking, hot air ballooning.
Booking notes
We would like to receive a 20% deposit at least 6 weeks before the date of arrival and the balance 4 weeks before arrival.

Kay & Mark Chandler, UK: 'There's something for everyone here. Mark loved the golf couse with its water and wildlife and it was hard to prise the girls off the trampolines. We saw some awesome sights in the Park.
