All the delights of the Cape are within easy reach by car; Cape Town is 90 minutes away, Hermanus 20, Franschoek 60 Stellanbosch 60 and the beautiful farmland of the Overberg is on the doorstep! Kleinmond, surrounded by nature reserves, part of the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, is often considered the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom because of the very high quality of the fynbos. Birds of the Cape abound including the Jackass Penguins at Betty's Bay, 10 minutes away. Kleinmond provides all the facilities needed for a delightful holiday; superb beaches, coastal paths through the fynbos and lovely golf courses. Not to forget the shops and restaurants.

Changeover day
The property can be booked for a minimum of three days and there is no fixed changover day.

The living area is open plan with three areas for TV (satellite), reading and dining. Comfortably furnished by a local interior designer the whole provides a lovely interior space to relax. |

An indoor braai (BBQ) is set in an area adjacent to the kitchen and living areas. Large windows and glass doors open onto a deck with views to sea and mountain. |

Outside
The front garden is mainly indiginous fynboss and is a haven for many birds. The rear garden has just been renovated to provide shade and restful sunbathing. There is a second braai and large shaded table.
Coast/Beach
Two minutes walk from the house is the Kleinmond coastal path which meanders for miles through savage rocks and onto beautiful and quiet beaches. The Atlantic provides surfing off the main beach. The best swimming is in the lagoon behind the main beach or in the mouth of the river about 3 km to the west. The coast road to Cape Town passes several wonderful beaches.
Golf
The Kleinmond Golf Club is 5 minutes away and has a lovely 9 hole (go round twice from different tees) course set between mountain and sea. Not championship standard but cheap and cheerful! The Arabella Course 15 minutes away is an altogether different proposition. A truly lovely championship course dipping down to the Bot River lagoon. The facilities are of the highest standard as they are attached to the five star Western Cape Hotel and Spa.
Travel
Cape Town International Airport is 75 minutes away. Airport transfer can be arranged but really to enjoy the area a car should be hired.
