Large Heated Pool on North Side

The house is located 10 minutes from the center of Cape Town, within easy reach of the airport, the waterfront and golf courses. It is only 15 minutes to the beaches of the Atlantic or Indian Oceans. The Property has uninterrupted views over Table Mountain and is a short walk from South Africa's International Cricket and Rugby stadiums and the famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

Notes on prices
The prices are weekly rates for the house in UK Pounds.
The house is serviced 5 days a week. Babysitting and extra help are available as required. Two week lets are preferable and there is a discount for longer periods of stay.

Outside
The house sits in an acre of mature gardens, surrounded by a high wall. The entrance to the property is through two large iron gates which open automatically onto a sweeping in-out drive. There is secure parking for several vehicles in the drive as well as a garage under the property for two cars.
In the South of the Garden is a Tennis court, with floodlights. To the North side of the property lies the Pool and outside entertainment areas. The large Swimming Pool is kept to a minimum temperature of around 27 degrees by an automatic heating system throughout the months of October until April.
There is an area under a Pergola with a Table for outside dining, plenty of space around the Pool and garden to sunbath as well as a large patio area to the back of the property for relaxing in the evening. Most areas of the Garden and several rooms in the house have fantastic unspoilt views of Table Mountain.

We had a wonderful holiday, the house was even better than you described, and was absolutely perfect for our needs. It is beautifully furnished, but in a clever way that makes it not too scary for a family with 2 young boys. They really enjoyed the space and the bunk beds. The pool was just what we needed, and our 3-year-old son enjoyed having "swimming galas".

Your maid, Albertina, really made the holiday for us. As you already said, she is honest and hardworking. We also found her really kind with the children, friendly, and super-efficient. She offered to do our personal laundry, which was great. What I did not expect was that every day she went through the bedrooms looking for things to wash, and they turned up that afternoon beautifully pressed.

Thanks for supplying the basis for a great holiday, the first restful holiday we've had since having the boys!
