The apartment has been recently renovated and furnished to a high standard. While a washing machine is installed in the apartment, there is also a good (and inexpensive) launderette in Kalk Bay where one can leave one's laundry and collect it the same day.

Location Information: The apartment is in a modern security complex called St James Terrace, located just off the Main Road that runs down the Cape Peninsula from Cape Town to Simon's Town. It is 27 kilometres from Cape Town CBD. A railway line runs parallel to the Main Road and St James Terrace is located almost halfway between the stations at St James and Kalk Bay. If one drives from Cape Town or from the airport, it is usually best to join the Main Road at or before Muizenberg, from where the route continues alongside the False Bay coastline. Follow the Main Road, passing through St James, until just before Kalk Bay. The entrance to St James Terrace (which is clearly marked) is on the right-hand side of Main Road between Leighton & Kimberley Roads. Access for both vehicles and pedestrians is controlled.
