Enjoy a cool glass of wine overlooking the sea at the famous Brass Bell restaurant. Take scenic walks beside the sea or on mountain paths. Only 30 km drive to Cape Town and the V&A Waterfront. Short drive or train ride to Muizenberg, Fish Hoek or Simon's Town. Golfers have 2 good courses within 10 min driving distance.

A tastefully furnished two-bedroomed apartment, with undercover parking, overlooking the sea at St James. Self-catering with satellite television, this apartment in a secure complex is ideally situated near the tidal pools of St James and Dalebrook – as well as a number of beaches. Shops, galleries and restaurants of Muizenberg in one direction, and Kalk Bay in the other, are within easy walking distance. In Kalk Bay, the boutique Theatre offers a variety of plays and shows while freshly caught fish are a feature of the harbour enabling the numerous restaurants to vie to tempt every palate. Start the day with a scenic walk along the beach trail or one of the many mountain paths. The railway station is about 500 metres away giving easy access to Simonstown in the South or Cape Town and its Waterfront in the North. The alternative is to relax back in the apartment and watch the whales from the lounge window or the balcony – or to make use of the swimming pool in the complex.

The apartment has been recently renovated and furnished to a high standard. While a washing machine is installed in the apartment, there is also a good (and inexpensive) launderette in Kalk Bay where one can leave one's laundry and collect it the same day.

Location Information: The apartment is in a modern security complex called St James Terrace, located just off the Main Road that runs down the Cape Peninsula from Cape Town to Simon's Town. It is 27 kilometres from Cape Town CBD. A railway line runs parallel to the Main Road and St James Terrace is located almost halfway between the stations at St James and Kalk Bay. If one drives from Cape Town or from the airport, it is usually best to join the Main Road at or before Muizenberg, from where the route continues alongside the False Bay coastline. Follow the Main Road, passing through St James, until just before Kalk Bay. The entrance to St James Terrace (which is clearly marked) is on the right-hand side of Main Road between Leighton & Kimberley Roads. Access for both vehicles and pedestrians is controlled.
