The flat is comfortably furnished, well decorated with new beds.

The flat is contained within a half acre garden, which is full of delightful trees, shrubs and colourful plants. There is a private heated pool 8 metres long with stunning waterfall feature. A private BBQ (Braai) facility is provided downstairs from the flat.
There is a furnished balcony, sun all day - with table and 4 chairs.
Coast/Beach
The flat is situated within a 5 minute drive of very safe beaches on Leisure Island, in the lagoon, or 20 minutes from wonderful beaches on the sea. The nearest sight of the sea is by the spectacular Knysna Heads, also a 5 minute drive away.
Golf
Knysna Golf Club is a 5 minute walk away and the spectacular world class Pezula and Simola Golf Courses are a 5 minute/20 minute drive away respectively.
Travel
The nearest airport is George (60kms, 50 mins), with direct links to Johannesburg and Cape Town. Car hire is recommended.

Knysna town centre is 3 kms/5 mins away. Plettenburg Bay 30kms/30 mins. George 55 kms/50 mins. Cape Town approximately a 5 hour drive.
Further details
Knysna is a town full of interest and along with the immediate surroundings can easily keep a family entertained for a week or more. The main town is 5 minutes away and hosts a wonderful selection of shops, shopping malls, and an amazing array of restaurants, bars and cafes. There are boat trips galore and the lagoon and the hills provide a spectacular back drop to the town. The waterfront harbour is a very popular focal point. There is a selection of supermarkets and banks, and a good restaurant in a lovely garden setting just a 10 minute walk away.

My wife and I live in South Africa - on the Garden Route - having retired there 5 years ago, after Roger having flown for 41 years as a Captain with BMI in England. However, our other favourite destination in the world is Thailand, especially Koh Samui.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
Having visited South Africa twice and fallen in love with the country, we decided that our real favourite place of many that we have visited is Knysna. It is the complete town, wonderful location, scenery, warm friendly people, and a climate which we have not found better any where in the world.
We chose this particular house with it's garden flat because it was in such a wonderful secluded location, very private, and yet within easy distance of everything this town has to offer.
