Studio Martini is the perfect base for a self-catering Cape Town holiday. Centrally located immediately opposite the beautiful Company Gardens, where you’ll find the National Gallery, SA Museum, Parliament, Planetarium, St George’s Cathedral and great open air cafe. Open-top tourist bus stops right outside for trips around the peninsula, Table Mountain, Clifton & Camps Bay beaches, V&A Waterfront. No need for a car, but you do have your own dedicated parking bay inside the building by the lift. Studio Martini is perfect for 1 or 2 people. It has a double bed with crisply laundered 100% cotton linens and an en-suite bathroom with bath & shower. kitchen is fitted with everything you need for a long or short self-catering stay. The cherry on the top is the view of Cape Town's most iconic landmark - Table Mountain. Watch the cable car going up and down from the sofa or balcony. Oh and don't forget the big blue swimming pool in large quiet gardens.

Changeover day
I have a dedicated management company who sees to all the meet and greet, cleaning and changeover. They will try and accommodate all your needs if you want to stay longer than usual checkout time.

Bathrooms: En-suite bathroom with bath/shower over.
Kitchen: Fitted kitchen; oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and all items needed for long or short stay.
Utility Room: Apartment block has dedicated laundry room in basement.
Living Rooms: Light airy lounge with suede sofa and leather ottoman. TV and DVD.
Other: Bijou little balcony has two comfortable cushioned wicker chairs and small table. Open up both balcony doors and sit in afternoon sun while looking up at Table Mountain and Lion's Head. Dedicated safe, secure parking bay inside building beside lifts.

Outside
Very large, clean swimming pool for all residents, set in lush gardens. The apartment building is surrounded by gardens, making it very quiet in the heart of the city. The well-known Company's Gardens for strolling and visiting tourist sights is immediately opposite the front entrance.

Coast/Beach
10 mins drive to the soft sands of Camps Bay and Clifton beaches, and palm-line boulevard spilling with street cafes. Cape town is surrounded by ocean so you are never very far away from a beach or the V&A Waterfront or fabulous restaurants overlooking the water.

Travel
5 mins walk to: Greenmarket Square, Kloof Street restaurants, two Fifa World Cup event venues, cafes, bars, clubs, galleries, museums, afternoon tea at Mt Nelson Hotel, shops, cinema, theatre. Hop on and off the open-top bus which stops outside the apartment, going to V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, beaches and other notable landmarks.

5-mins drive to Table Mt, V&A Waterfront, 15 mins drive to Kirstenbosch Gardens. 30 mins drive to Constantia Winelands and Cape Town international airport. 1 hr drive to Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope.

About the owner
I came on holiday to Cape Town 16 years ago and loved it so much I stayed. Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
I knew as soon as I walked into this apartment that it was 'the one'. You know what I mean? You look at lots and then find the one that speaks to you. I hope you feel the same way, I think you will. The location is exactly right for a city pad and because it is surrounded by trees and gardens, city noises are muffled and it is remarkably quiet. It's a place with palpable history; The Company Gardens were created in mid 1600's when the colonists first arrived and many historic buildings are in this street. It's the proximity to everything that Cape Town has to offer that made it even more right. It's a small city, and safe too, and it's a joy to walk around it.

Unique benefits of the property
So why should you stay here? There are lots of other places (I know, because I star grade them every day). But my Studio Martini apartment in Cape Town is best value for best position and my Waterside Cottage in Muizenberg is quite simply, the same.
