400 meters from the sandy beach of Bloubergstrand, other local beaches are Small Bay which is ideal and safe for children with interesting rock pools to explore and Big Bay for waves and surfing. A drive up the West Coast to the sandy beach of Melkbosstrand or travel out East around the Peninsula Coast to discover more beaches and an amazing, scenic coastline.

Close to 2 excellent golf estates. 5km from Milnerton Golf Course and 8km from Atlantic Beach Golf Estate.

Distances
The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, the Two Oceans Aquarium and the Cape Town city centre is only 20 minutes drive away and always brimming with events. Visit the Paarl and Stellenbosch wine routes - 15 minutes drive away. Enjoy shopping at Canal Walk, Tygervalley malls or visit the Grand West Casino 10km. Choice of gyms in the local vicinity as well as Medi Clinics.
Further details
A must when visiting the area is to enjoy a 'sundowner' at the Blue Peter Hotel and watch the sunset with the dolphins, enjoy a traditional meal at 'On the Rocks' or 'Ons Huisie' restaurants and for a seafood experience try 'Orca' restaurant in Melkbos or Cape Town Fish market at the Waterfront. Another must is to visit Eden on the Bay along the promenade where there are plenty of restaurants and bars, try Moyos and the Tikkie Bar.
Booking notes
A 30% deposit secures the booking. The balance to be paid 4 weeks prior to arrival. A 15% fee will be levied on cancellations up to 31 days before arrival. Deposits are forfeited on cancellations after this date. Cancellations less than 2 weeks before arrival – no refund. A refundable security deposit of £150 is required on arrival. We do not accept credit cards. We regret strictly no pets. This is a non-smoking apartment.

"We had a great time staying in Bloubergstrand and your comfortable, quiet apartment, our only regret is that we did not book three weeks, but maybe next year! It was so so convenient, being only 5 minutes walk away from the beach, pubs and restaurants, whilst at the same time being close enough to Cape Town to visit all the attractions.

We stayed at the apartment during the World Cup. It’s in a secure safe area and the best thing is that it is walking distance to lovely beaches,beach side cafes and restaurants (particularly a great fish restaurant) and walking distance to supermarkets and shopping malls.Carol Mead
