Lovely three/four bedroom house in Marina Da Gama, False Bay, on quiet lake with a mountain backdrop. Great views, excellent for sunrise/sunset drinks on the balcony, private pool (solar heated) for sole use of occupants and games room. Our house is easily accessible from the airport and from the centre of Cape Town (VA Waterfront) offering easy access to Cape Town and surrounding areas. It is close to the beach (good surfing), and to a vlei conservation area (great for birds, canoeing, windsurfing) and good restaurants and cafes nearby. Walking and cycling along the Cape peninsula is easy, and there are several golf courses available nearby where temporary membership is welcomed.

Flexible changeover day, but in after 2pm and out by 10am. If your flight times don't fall in these times some flexibility is possible unless there are back to back bookings.

Notes on accommodation
Great place for older children but swimming pool not fenced in, and first floor balcony with wooden fence, so not suitable for unsupervised toddlers, two walled gardens, garage for 2-3 cars. No smoking in the house, no pets. The house is our happy summer home so please enjoy it to the full as you would your own home but look after it too.
Accessibility
There is a shower room on ground floor and garden room has two single beds. Passage may not be wide enough for wheel chair. Access to upstairs would be difficult with limited mobility.
Outside
Patio, large balcony deck accessible from main bedroom, G&T deck access from second bedroom, great views of the lake and mountains; two walled gardens, private pool, barbecue, outdoor table seats 8, sunloungers. Brai, Easy access to the lake.
Coast/Beach
1 km from beach, great for walking or surfing, bit chilly for normal swimming but the False Bay coast is warmer than the atlantic coast, plenty of car parking space. Crazy golf, childs fun pool complex. Sheltered bays with sea water pools are within 5km, eg St James.
Travel
Cape Town international airport is approx 25 minutes drive. Car hire is recommended for trips around the area, but essential shops, facilities are 2 mins walk away.
Distances
Muizenberg centre is 1.5Km, Cape Town Victoria and Albert Waterfront is about 20-25 minutes drive, Cape Point approx. half an hour, St James, Kalk Bay antique shops, cafes, restaurants, gentle seafront walking, ten minutes drive. Stellenbosch vineyards about 40 minutes drive along coastal road. These times are not acuarte during rush hours.
