6km of pristine white beach, as featured in Oscar award winning film ‘Ryan's Daughter’ is 5 mins drive away. Popular activities include Whale watching and Horse riding. A 20 mins drive round the stunning Chapmans Peak mountain road will bring you to the vibrant and trendy Camps Bay. With its multitude of bars and restaurants.
Golf
Westlake, Steenburg, Clovelly, Mowbray, Royal Cape golf courses are all reasonably close by. With Westlake, and Steenburg only 15 min from the house.
Travel
Cape Town International Airport is only 40 mins drive away.

Cape Town city centre, is 35km north of Noordhoek, and Cape Point is a simular distance to the south.

Noordhoek Farm Village: This is an eclectic collection of shops, a pub and restaurants and in many respects represents the centre of Noordhoek community. Browse through the shops offering quaint gifts, crafts, clothing and collectibles. Enjoy a glass of wine at the Nags Head pub or visit the Food Barn, a laidback luxury bistro and food store and recent addition to the village. Award winning chef and acclaimed cookery writer Franck Dangereux has created a delightful, simple country restaurant and deli drawing on his memories of the South of France and from his time as head chef at the award winning La Colombe, Constantia Utsig restaurant (voted the best restaurant in Cape Town). Enjoy a mouth-watering breakfast served from 8am – 11.30am or lunch 12 noon 0 – 3pm or stock up on homemade breads, cakes and pastries. To enjoy dinner early booking is essential as the Foodbarn is open between 7pm and 9.30 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings only and space is limited. Longbeach Mall - here you will find many shops, kiosks, and restaurants. Pick and Pay supermarket is at the far left of the mall. Note, that in South Africa, supermarkets charge for plastic carrier bags. There are several bags at the house for your use.Amongst the other shops, you will find Edgars department store, and Woolworth’s. In South Africa, is similar to Marks and Spencer’s in the UK, selling clothes, and good quality food amongst other things. You will also find the Mug and Bean, which is a really good coffee shop. There are many restaurants here as well. They include, Ocean Basket, which sells good quality, really cheap, seafood. There is a Wimpy bar, Steak house, and many other ‘ast food’ places, where you can get all types of cuisine. Chinese, sushi, samosa’s, biltong etc. he mall also has several banks, a post office, and Internet cafe. If you need a more substantial money changing facility, there are several bank main branches, and a Bureau de Change, just down the road, in Fish Hoek.
Booking notes
We require a deposit of 50% on booking. Payment by Bank Transfer, UK cheque, or internet transfer through Pay Pal. Outstanding balance payable one month prior to arrival. I'm sorry, but no credit card facilities are available. We also request a refundable breakages deposit on arrival.
