This classic villa sits on the hill above the fishing village of Hout Bay near Cape Town, with stunning views out towards the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains of the Cape Peninsula. The villa boasts four bedrooms, three with views of the ocean, and three bathrooms, two with shower/bath. The master bedroom is equipped with a kingsize bed and small sitting area, and a picture window looking out over the ocean. More views are available on the outdoor terrace, perfect for breakfast and lunch, sheltered by a shade awning in the afternoons. Inside, the large wood-floored sitting and dining areas offers evening comfort, along with a fireplace. The modern, fully equipped kitchen has everything needed for large meals (try some of the fresh local seafood available in the village), as well as a countertop with stools for quick meals. There is a separate TV area, as well as a separate games room downstairs near the pool (located behind the sliding doors above the pool in the photo).

Prices are for the property per night in South African Rands. Weekly rate is equivalent to 6 nights, and lower rates available for longer rentals.

Accessibility
Nearly all the main living space is on one level - terrace, sitting room,dining room, kitchen, the master bedroom and 2 others, and all the bathrooms. One bedroom is on an upper level.
Outside
Private pool is 18 ft by 30 ft, depth from 4 to 6 ft. Brick barbeque sits on the bricked area surrounding the pool, as does addition plastic garden table and 4 chairs. Weber covered barbeque is also on site.
Coast/Beach
Hout Bay beach is a 10 minute walk down the hill from the house. Spectacular Noordhoek beach is 15 minutes drive south along Chapman's Peak Drive, one of the world's great scenic ocean drives along a cliff 500 ft above the ocean. Camps Bay and Clifton beaches are all within 20 minutes drive. The beaches of the Cape Peninsula National Park are 45 minutes south.
Golf
Many international calibre golf courses in the Cape Town area.
Travel
Cape Town International Airport is 30 minutes drive. Car use/hire is recommended, although village shops, markets and restaurants are only a few minutes walk from the house.

The relaxed fishing village of Hout Bay is perfectly situated on the Cape Peninsula between the bustle of Cape Town 20 minutes drive to the north, and the beaches and scenery of the Cape of Good Hope and the Cape Peninsula National Park further south. The winelands of Constantia are only a few minutes drive away. Beautiful Hout Bay beach is only 10 min walk from the house, as are the shops and restaurants in the village. Enjoy the spectacular Chapman's Peak Drive which starts from Hout Bay. For the more adventurous, a number of mountain walks can be found in the environs of Hout Bay, offering views of the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains of the peninsula. The beach, restaurants and night life of Camps Bay are only a 10 min drive north.
