Palma can be reached within half an hour by car from South Mallorca rental villas. It’s the island’s capital and boasts a surprising array of cultural and historical attractions, like the magnificent medieval cathedral and the Es Baluard - Museum of Contemporary Art. You could also make the short trip here from your villa in South Mallorca for a shopping expedition. Palma offers all the famous international high street names, as well as a host of exclusive boutiques in the old-town close to Paseo Born. On the other hand, you might like to head northwest of South Mallorca holiday apartments, to the Tramauntana Mountains, for a for a mini-adventure by car, on foot or by bike.
Weather
If you come to a South Mallorca apartment between May and October you’ll likely be able to enjoy sublime beach weather, with especially high temperatures in July and August. Winters on the island are wetter and milder, but there’s almost always some sun to be had.
Best Time to Visit
Even the most far-flung beaches on the island can get busy at the height of summer, so it might be worth visiting holiday accommodation in South Mallorca earlier or later in the season, in June or September.
