Apartment Alpe is a spacious (57 m2) ground/1st floor, 2 bedroom, comfortably furnished flat with balcony. The property is situated in the heart of the picturesque alpine village of Kranjska Gora, well known for the Vitranc Slalom and Giant Slalom Ski World Cup, and is one of the most popular ski centres among Slovene as well as foreign skiers. Its central location provides easy access to shops, restaurants and bars (still reasonably priced) with less than 3 min level walk to nursery slopes, ski lifts, ice-skating, swimming and the start of over 150 km of marked trails for cycling, hiking and cross-country skiing. Thanks to its proximity, the whole family can enjoy these facilities as well as horse-riding, fishing, golf, kayak and rafting nearby. Enthusiastic walkers and mountaineers from all over the world come to enjoy the lush green valleys, crystal-clear rivers and the dramatic limestone peaks. Changeover day
Normally, changeover day is Saturday but special arrangements may be possible out of peak season. Visitors are asked to arrive after 4pm and leave by 11am.

Kranjska Gora: a picturesque 9 hole golf course. Lake Bled (20 mins by car): 18 hole golf course. Tarvisio (Italy, 20 mins by car): 18 hole golf course.
Skiing
The compact lift system provides access to a wide variety of pistes suitable for skiers of all levels, especially for beginners and intermediates. Advanced skiers will enjoy tackling black run in Podkoren, home to World Cup events. Snowboarders will enjoy the slopes to the village. Altitude: 810-1,500m. Marked piste: 30km. Snow cannons: 31. Number of runs: 13 blue, 5 red, 3 black. Direction of slopes: North and East. Lifts: 4 chairlifts, 16 draglifts. Ski lessons available for skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing. Ski-nursery for 3-6 yrs old: 6 days x 2 hours (~78 EUR). Cross country trails: 40km. Photo: required for lift pass. The world’s largest ski jump is located in Planica valley, 5 km from Kranjska Gora.
Travel
International airports: Slovenia, Brnik/Ljubljana: 62km (40 mins). Austria, Klagenfurt: 55km (35 mins). Italia, Ronchie/Trieste: 136km (90 mins). Italia, Marco Polo/Venezia: 230km (150 mins). Car hire is recommended if travelling outside Kranjska Gora. One of the local agency organises different excursions, transfers from bus and railway stations and all airports. Distances
Lake Jasna and entrance to Triglav National Park 15 mins walk. Tranquil Zelenci, the source of the Sava Dolinka river (which ends its journey in the Black Sea) 5 mins by car. Beautiful picturesque Lake Bled: 30 mins by car. 18-hole Bled Golf Course 30 mins by car. World famous Postojna Caves 90 mins by car.

Here you will be spoilt for choice in pampering by using any of 2 swimming pools, underwater massage, water jets, whirlpool, a waterfall,Turkish, Finnish and Infrared saunas. Children can enjoy specially designed pool with water slide and other water jet features. There is a casino for your additional entertainment and beauty salon for ladies.

£100/Euro 150 deposit at time of booking. Balance due 8 weeks before departure. A refundable damage deposit of Euro 150 will also be charged.

We had the most fantastic time, the apartment was perfect for our needs, centrally located, clean, well-stocked with all the equipment you need to make meals - a home from home and plenty of toys for the kids!
