Completed in 2006 the house is traditional in style. It is spacious with a large lounge, dining room and kitchen breakfast room. It also has 2 bathrooms and a laundry room. The bedrooms all have stunning views and 4 have access to balconies. A cot is available for use. The village of Mojstrana has 2 restaurants, a bakery, 2 bars and a supermarket within short walking distance. There is also a tourist office and post office. The more substantial towns of Bled (with the famous lake, church & castle) and Kranjska Gora are 15 mins drive and Ljubljana 45 mins drive. Transfer time from Ljubljana Airport is 40 mins by car. Car hire is essential. The Green House is 10 mins from the Austrian border and 25 mins from the Italian border by car which makes for great summer and winter exploring. In the cellar are mountain bikes and a table tennis table for guests use. Outdoor activities are in ample supply in all seasons and include white water rafting, fly fishing, climbing, mountain biking etc.

Notes on accommodation
There are toys and bikes seats for the back of adult bikes for children. Also a potty and toilet step.
Outside
There is a grass area in front of the house and a seating area for 4 persons by the kitchen overlooking the village. At the back of the house there is a hard area with a BBQ and bench. There is ample parking for 2 cars in front of the house.
Coast/Beach
Piran is 2 hours by car.
Golf
There is a golf course in Bled.
Skiing
Skiing facilities are detailed in full on our website. There is a green run in the village, but the larger resorts of Kranjska Gora, Bohinj, Kravavech, Nassfeld, Gerlitzen and Tarvisio are all accessible. Ski jumping can be done in Kranjska Gora and snow boarding / cross country skiing at all resorts above.
Special interest holidays
Walking, hiking, trekking, bird watching, fly fishing, mountain biking, white water rafting, para gliding, kayaking - any outdoor activity you can think of can be done in the surrounding mountains and valleys!
Travel
Ljubljana is a 30 - 40 minute drive, Klagenfurt is a 45 minute drive, Trieste is a 2 hour drive and all are serviced by low cost airlines. Car hire is essential.
Distances
Mojstrana village is 2 minutes walk. Lake Bled is a 15 minute drive, Kranjska Gora a 10 minute drive, Ljubljana is a 45 minute drive. The small local tourist office is about 50m from the house.
Booking notes
Check availability by emailing via link lower down page. A £100 deposit is taken at the time of booking with balance due 2 weeks prior to travel. A £300 security deposit is also payable and refunded within a week of departure. Rates vary from £990 - £1200 per week based on 8 persons. An additional tourist tax of €1 per person per night is applicable.
