'Villa Aurora' is situated in a protected area, 10 mins walk from the coast in a tranquil, secluded setting with cypresses fruit trees and vineyards in abundance. Built on the site of a 19th century villa, the house was completely rebuilt and refitted in 2006/7 and is surrounded by garden, with uninterrupted views from the terrace to the coast. The villa comprises 2 extremely comfortable and spacious maisonettes, each with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen & large living/dining room and private terrace area, with a shared sunny terrace at the front of the house. Guests can rent 1 or both maisonettes. Those taking just 1 can specify that the other side should not be rented so they retain complete privacy. From the villa it is a short walk to a choice of restaurants, bars, shops, wellness centre, tennis courts and a hotel with a pool. Strunjan is a quiet seaside village a few km from Slovenia's 2 best coastal towns - stunning Venetian Piran and charming Izola.

25% payable to make booking, 75% 2 months prior to stay. People booking single maisonette can guarantee the other maisonette will not be rented at the same time subject to a premium dependent on season. Not included in price & payable on arrival: Security deposit of €200 / house. Tourist tax of 1.01 Eur / day for adults & 0.5 Eur / day for children (under 7 - no tax payable). Local hotel facilities (swimming pool) not included in prices.

Accessibility
The villa itself is accessible for wheelchair users but bedrooms all lie on the upper floor which is not as easily accessible.
Outside
Each maisonette has its own private terrace and there is a very large terrace shared by both maisonettes at the front of the villa with scope for outdoor eating. There is a large garden in front of the house.
Coast/Beach
Strunjan is one of the nicest seaside villages on the Slovenian Adriatic. Strunjan Bay is 10 minutes walk offering a lovely view across to beautiful St George's cathedral in Piran and excellent swimming from a man made beach and on a natural beach in the next bay at the foot of the lovely Strunjan cliffs (20 minutes walk from the villa).

Distances
Walking distance from a range of restaurants, bars, shops, sports facilities (tennis, volleyball) and a large health/wellness centre with a wide variety of treatments. Just a few km from Piran, a beautiful, historic Venetian town and Izola, a small, bustling fishing village/resort town. Both offer plentiful opportunities for sightseeing, shopping, eating out and beaches. The resort of Portoroz is a few kms further. Daytrips possible to world-class caves, the Lippizaner stud, Ljubljana + Venice.
