With direct views of the ski slopes from the terrace and garden, and set back from the road in one of the finest residential apartment blocks in the area, this apartment is the perfect base for skiing, hiking, mountain biking or simply exploring the area at leisure. It is a 5 mins walk to the cable car up the mountain, close to local restaurants and cafes and other facilities, yet surrounded by forests and vineyards on the hills. The lovely old city of Maribor is 3km away and easily reachable by bus from near the apartment. Swimming pool and wellness spa at the nearby Habekuk Hotel, volleyball, horse riding, fishing and a golf driving range all close to hand. And don't forget to explore the local vineyards! Transfer time from Maribor airport is about 20 mins. Ryanair now flies directly from Stansted to Maribor. I can arrange a local taxi if required.

Accessibility
Ground floor apartment with wheelchair access ramp to the building. Parquet flooring throughout and large ground floor terrace. Wide corridor in building and apartment itself. There are 2 steep steps down from the large terrace to a small garden. The kitchen and bathroom haven't been adapted for wheelchair/disabled usage.
Outside
Small private garden. Large, partly enclosed terrace with outdoor table and chairs.
Golf
Driving range 10 minutes away. Nearest full course is at Ptuj, half an hour away by car.
Skiing
The apartment is located in the ski resort of Zgornje Radvanje with direct views up the ski slope. Excellent skiing opportunities for all levels, with 25% of ski runs for experts, 35% intermediate/advanced and 40% for beginners. The apartment is 5 minutes from the cable car station that transports skiers to the upper station at Bolfenk (1040m).
60km of downhill trails and slopes including the longest floodlit night skiing run in Europe. Cross-country skiing and treking.
Travel
Nearest airport is Graz, just over the border in Austria. Ryanair flies to Graz three times a week. EasyJet fly to Llubljana, about 90 kms away.
Maribor is on the main train route from Llubljana to Graz and Budapest.
Further details
Small bakery opposite the apartment. Supermarket two minutes walk away, post office five minutes. Cash machines at the supermarket and cable car station (five minutes).
Restaurants, cafes and bars in the immediate vicinity.
The nearby Habekuk hotel has both a swimming pool and wellness centre that is open to non-residents.
Sports centre close by, plus golf driving range and horse riding. Cable car to ski slopes five minutes away. Good bus service (No.6) into Maribor - about fifteen minutes. Ski and mountain bike hire a few minutes away. Free wi-fi in local cafe or your own laptop. Ski schools for all ages. Paragliding and mountain biking in summer.
Booking notes
Three nights deposit required at time of booking, with the balance due one month beforehand. the full amount due within one month. Full refund for cancellations received in writing up to one calendar month beforehand; for cancellations within one month the three nights deposit is forfeit.
Compulsory Slovenian tourist tax of one euro per adult per night collected upon arrival.
