Changeover day
The letting period is from 15.00 hours on the day of arrival until 11.00 hours on the day of departure. Changeover day is flexible. Weekend / midweek stays available-please just ask.

Bedroom 1 is recently decorated in a contemporary style. There are two single beds in this room. The window looks out to the front of the property and to the hills and Glendevon in the distance. There is a fitted mirrored wardrobe and additional cupboard. |

The white bathroom suite has been recently fitted. It comprises toilet, wash hand basin, bath and electric shower. There is a glass shower screen in place. The floor is Amtico slate. The bathroom is heated by a heated towel rail. |

The newly installed kitchen is fitted with Neff double oven and ceramic hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave oven. There is an iron and ironing board. The kitchen overlooks communal gardens to woodland beyond. |

Accessibility
The property is on 2 levels. The kitchen and living area are on the ground floor and the bedrooms and bathroom are on the upper floor. There is one step from ground level to the front door and three steps to the back door.
Outside
The property sits amidst beautifully maintained communal gardens. The back door leads onto a private patio area. A table, chairs and parasol are available for use outside. Access to the swimming pool, gym, tennis courts, mountain bikes and spa at Gleneagles Hotel (3 minutes walk from the house) can be arranged.
Coast/Beach
The beaches at St Andrew's and Carnoustie and the picturesque coastal villages on the East Neuk of Fife are about an hour's drive away. There are many rivers and lochs nearby.
Golf
Gleneagles is the Ryder Cup venue for 2014. The house which is accessed via the grounds of Gleneagles hotel has a number of golf courses on its doorstep including the King's, the Queen's, the PGA and the "Wee Course". There are also courses at Auchterarder (2 miles), Whitemoss and St Andrew's (Old Course), Carnoustie and Loch Lomond are all just an hour's drive away. Turnberry is about 1.5 hour's drive.

The charming town of Auchterarder (the Lang Toon) is within walking distance (2 miles) and provides a fine range of shops, delicatessens, cafes & restaurants. The attractions of the county towns of Perth and Stirling are 20 minutes away. Edinburgh (Scotland's historic capital and home to the Scottish Parliament) famous for its annual arts festival and Glasgow (City of Architecture and Design 1999) a must for shop lovers and art lovers are just an houraway by bus, train or car.
Further details
The house is an excellent base from which to explore Scotland's wonderful scenery, castles, historic monuments, whisky distilleries, golf courses, theatres, towns and villages. Edinburgh (Scotland's historic capital and home to the Scottish Parliament) famous for its annual arts festival; Glasgow (City of Architecture and Design 1999) a must for shop lovers and art lovers; St Andrew's (home of golf) perched above the spectacular West Sands (the beach in Chariots of Fire) Carnoustie (Open Championship 2007) are all an hour away by car. Reservations for dinner at Michelin starred Restaurant Andrew Fairlie; Strathearn Restaurant at Gleneagles or any of the restaurants in the area can be made (although as much notice as possible should be given). The Co-op in nearby Auchterarder is open until 10pm. Bookings can also be made for spa treatments, tennis courts, the equestrian centre, clay pigeon shooting, falconry, off road driving etc.
Booking notes
Please telephone me to arrange a booking. A deposit of 50% of the rental charge is due within 7 days of booking. The remaining 50% is due 10 days prior to the arrival date. In the event of cancellation of a booking the deposit will only be refunded if the property is re-let for the period. In any event 10% of the total cost will be retained to cover administration costs. Changeover day is flexible. Weekend / midweek stays available.
