There are a couple of pups / restaurants on the harbour front, a lovely way to spend a warm summers evening sitting on the harbour wall enjoying a beer, with beautiful scenery surrounding you. There are 4 restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Not to mention some wonderful scenery along the coast line eg the beautiful St Cyrus Beach and Dunnottar Castle (where part of Hamlet was filmed). Indeed there are numerous castles, golf courses and sandy beaches around this area. Excellent view of the world famous spectacular hogmany fireball ceremony, which takes place right outside your door.

Stonehaven has an 18 hole golf course, Auchenblae a few miles away has a 9 hole course and there are an abundance of others in Aberdeenshire.
