Changeover day
This is usually a Saturday from 2.00pm. The key will be available from a neighbour. On departure please leave the bungalow clean and tidy - by the latest 12.00 noon.

Accessibility
The property is suitable for elderly visitors and people who have trouble with stairs. There is 1 small step only leading in through the front door.

The back garden is accessed via a gate to the side of the property. There is a shed housing a garden table and chairs to seat 6, barbecue and 2 cycles.

Coast/Beach
The property is situated by the shores of Lochcarron and a sailing club is active within the village.

Golf
A nine hole golf course (Loch Carron) established in 1908 is situated to the east of the village and is situated overlooking the loch and the surrounding hills. The clubhouse offers meals and light refreshments during opening hours.

Travel
Lochcarron can be accessed by road and rail. The main routes are from Inverness and Fortwilliam. Inverness is approx. 62 miles away with regular flights to the south. Car hire is available at the airport. The Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh railway is one of the most scenic in the country and operates daily to Strathcarron station, two miles from Lochcarron village.

Distances
The Isle of Skye is approx 40 minutes drive from Lochcarron and is accessed via a bridge from Kyle of Lochalsh. The surrounding villages of Applecross, Gairloch, and Ullapool are all within a day trip distance.

Further details
Lochcarron has one main shop selling all manner of every day goods ie groceries, milk, newspapers, etc. The bank is situated across the main street from the bungalow. There are two hotels both licensed and serving meals to non residents.

The booking form (which must be signed by one person accepting the booking on behalf of everyone on the form) and any deposits must be sent to me before the issue of confirmation of your booking. The contract becomes effective on my written confirmation.
