Changeover day
Saturday and Sunday are the only changeover days. Arrival is anytime after 4pm. Departure anytime before 10am.

Large garden bordered by birch and pine trees with outdoor seating. Deck with seating and BBQ. Private parking.
Coast/Beach
6 miles to Loch Insh watersports beach (inland lake) and activity centre. 17 miles to Loch Morlich beach and watersports. Stunning views located at the base of the Cairngorm Mountains and ski area.
Golf
Less than 2 miles to the very scenic Kingussie 18-hole golf course and clubhouse. Designed by the legendary Harry Varden over 100 years ago. The course is over 1000 feet above sea level with stunning views of the Cairngorms National Park.
Skiing
The Cairngorm ski area, just 8 miles from Aviemore, is the largest ski area in Scotland with a total of 17 lifts, restaurant and visitor centre (35 minutes drive from the cottage).
Travel
Car hire is recommended. 3/4 hour drive from Inverness Airport. 2 hours drive from Edinburgh Airport. 2.5 hours drive from Glasgow Airport.
Distances
1 mile from Kingussie. 12 miles from Aviemore. Central for many visitor attractions, whiskey distilleries, castles, golf courses and watersports centres.
Further details
Kingussie has a variety of shops, restaurants, bank, grocery stores and speciality shops. The Kingussie Folk Museum shows the old ways of life in Scotland. Many scenic walks and cycle routes criss cross the area.
