Changeover day is Saturday but is flexible. Arrival time is 3pm Departure time is 10am.

Golf
The town itself boasts two excellent golf courses, both with breathtaking views of the sea and the islands. They are both a 5 minute drive from the apartment.
The championship courses of Royal Troon, Turnberry, Glasgow Gailes to name but a few are south of Largs and can be accessed by car or public transport.
Skiing
Xscape an indoor Snozone centre has real snow slope and offers skiing opportunities.
Travel
Glasgow Airport is a 40 minute drive north and Prestwick airport is a 45 minute drive south. There are excellent bus and rail links from Largs to Glasgow and Ayrshire.
Distances
Kelburn Castle and Country Centre 2 min drive. Largs Yacht Haven 2 min drive or 20 min walk along prom. Burns Cottage and Heritage Centre 1 hour drive. Glasgow 1 hour drive or bus/train journey. Arran access from Adrossan Ferry Terminal (20 min Drive) approx 1 hr crossing. Millport 10 min Ferry crossing from Largs pier. Argyll and Bute Ferry from Gourock (Argyll) and Wemyss Bay (Bute).
Further details
The town itself caters for all tastes with several fine restaurants, bars and bistros. The world famous Nardinis ice cream parlour, restaurant and pizzeria dominates the north promenade. To find out more about the town’s Viking heritage, the leisure centre Vikingar has not only the Viking experience with real live story tellers but also swimming pools, soft play, gym and theatre. Putting is available outdoors during the season. Last but not least Largs has its very own Kelburn castle and country centre with its secret forest and other country pursuits. It is also possible to take the busy ferry over to Cumbrae and enjoy a day cycling the island, visiting the tiny cathedral or enjoying the marine centre. A full list of prices for transport is available on the Calmac website. Largs Yacht Haven offers excellent moorings, two restaurants, a shop and a chandlers. There is the opportunity for tuition or to charter. A relaxing experience is to cruise the West Coast Waters aboard the historic paddle steamer Waverley from Largs Pier.

Have lived in Largs for many years and have enjoyed everything it has to offer. It never ceases to amaze me that each day the views of the hills and sea are ever changing but always beautiful.
Working in the tourism industry I have prided myself on what constitutes a good holiday experience and this is reflected in the position, decor and comfort of the apartment.

The apartment is centrally located and is in prime position with access to all amenities a short distance away. Sunsets are especially spectacular and can be enjoyed whilst walking along the promenade.
The area is quiet and private.
