About the owner
I am a 45 year old mother of 1 and sold my business when my daughter came along. I then bought the apartment to let as a business I could run from home so as to be here to see my daughter growing up.
I had the apartment 3 years when my husband and I decided to try the high end of the market and we bought the detached house known now as Mulroy house. This property has been furnished to a very high standard and just have to wait to see if it becomes as popular as our apartment has become.
I am very proud of the feedback I have received in the last 3 years from many of my clients in the apartment many of whom have returned several times. Just hope our new house meets with expectations of our clients and they return again for future holidays. My promise is to mantain the same high standards.
Why the owner chose a home in this location
We bought the house as I said before to aim at the luxury end of the market.
As my husband is a very keen golfer we have always used aviemore as a base for the golfing in the area
We are offering free golf at the spey valley in Aviemore and thought that this would be something which we would be intrested in and hope others think the same.
But Aviemore and the Cairngorms has much more to offer than golf, there is something in this area for everyone from skiing and snow boarding in the winter to hill walking, water sports,mountain biking, bird watching and some of the best fishing scotland has to offer. The property benefits from being in a quiet area and you are minutes from Aviemores orbital path that you can walk all around aviemore in complete safety.
Unique benefits of the property
Whilst staying at mulroy house or mulroy apartment the ease at which you can walk into the village of aviemore or jump straight on to the A9 and travel to any of the attractions in the area and only 30 minutes from Inverness makes aviemore a great base. If you do not want to travel there is always plenty right here in the village to occupy your time.
The golfing in this area is as good as anywhere else in the country from the championship Spey valley to the famous Boat of Garten and within a few miles Granton on spey and the lovely course at Kingussie.
Mulroy house is in a new development in Aviemore and is surrounded by trees which we feel makes the property quite private and it is at the end of a cul de sac which makes it safe and there is never any passing traffic to worry about.
