Placed in a old Sheppard village, Sirnea, away from the busy city life and close to mountain attractions such as sky resorts and famous castles, Dracula Castle at 15 min. Medieval Rasnov Fortress 20 min. Bucharest Airport at 140km. Renting a car is easy and cheap. It has 5 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

Skiing facilities are very easy to reach within 15 mins to Zanoaga or further to Poiana Brasov where are full skiing facilities, including cable car and several traditional restaurants.More than 50 highly qualified ski instructors fluent in different languages are here to teach both beginners and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. Ski rentals are available near the ski runs and the lift stations.There are 12 ski runs (including and Olympic run), to suit both advanced and novice skiers.
Travel
Nearest Airport is Bucharest at 110 miles and Sibiu at 90 miles, use of car hire is recommended as is cheap and easy to arrange. Flights from Luton with Wizzair low cost airline, from London Heatrow with BA,from London Gatwick with Blue Air(http://www.blueairweb.com) low cost also.

In the village there is an old church,local shops where you can meet the locals and you can rent quads and attend to organised mountain trips.Places of interest within 30 minutes from the villa include swimming, fortresses, monasteries, churches, cities, towns and villages, caves, walking, hiking, rock climbing, fishing, cycling, horse riding, restaurants, bars, spa facilities, bowling and shopping.
The village has shops that provide basic supplies and supermarkets are located at 15-20 mins.
Booking notes
A deposit of 25% is required for each booking, followed by the balance payable 4 weeks before the rental period.
Last minute bookings taken also subject to availability and full payment.
A security bond is required of £250 in cash that is returned after a successful inspection of the property, on the day of departure.

About the owner
We discovered this place back in 2003 when we were looking for a place to build our dream holiday home and in the same time to be suitable to rent out,so we found this plot of land in Sirnea, a village of pure traditional old way of life. So, started building this holiday home in 2007 and one year and half later the house was ready. It is a house build of wood. Yes, you could not tell but its walls are made out off massive wood beams,the bathrooms section is built on bricks for waterproof reasons only. We (me, my husband and the two children),live in UK but visit Sirnea as often as possible, in the spring,summer, autumn or winter there is always a charming feel to this place. The panoramic view over the mountains is awesome, on the East you can see Mountains Bucegi at West Piatra Craiulu.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We bought the land here as this village is away from the busy main road that connects the medieval city of Brasov to the historic market town Campulung,but what made us buy here has the feel of falling in love with the place, it feels surreal when you are there,like charging up with energy,leaving behind all the worries and problems that you have when at home and work, the local people are warm and willing to help anyone in need. Here is our charging stations, where we take enough energy to continue our life away from our jewel in the mountains.

Here you can also find loads of UK style extension leads and plug adapters for all your laptops or phone chargers.
