Casa Bonita is set in lovely lawned and landscaped gardens about 10 minutes from the beaches and approx 45 minutes from Faro airport. The villa is well equipped and offers spacious accommodation, comfortable bedrooms and plenty of outdoor furniture for the pool area. The pool is completely private 10x5m and 1½m deep max. Both the lounge area and the kitchen diner over look the pool. A hire car is essential due to the country location.

Preferred changeover day is Saturday but other options may be considered Arrival at the villa not before 4pm. Departure at 10am.

Large fully fitted kitchen/diner with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven, gas hob and fully equipped with crockery, glasses and cutlery
Utility Room:
Large utility room with washing machine, ironing board and iron.
Living Rooms:
Large comfortably furnished lounge with Satellite TV, DVD player and CD player. The patio doors open on to the patio and pool areas and far reaching views towards the coast.
Other:
Adjoining the lounge is a large garden room furnished with 3 sofas. At one end of the pool area is large covered dining area which can be totally enclosed behind sliding patio doors, or opened as required. There is also a shower/wc for pool use.
Cleaning/Towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen are included but not beach/pool towels. The villa is cleaned weekly with complete linen change.

About the area
Accessibility
The accommodation is all on one level but there are some steps leading down to the lawned areas and main garden.
Outside
Large gardens with manicured lawns and shrubs and trees. There is a large barbecue in the garden. The pool is 10x5m and 1 and half metres deep max. There are plenty of patio areas around the pool with chairs, loungers and tables. It is completely private.
Coast/Beach
The villa is about 10 minutes away from Alvor, a lively little fishing village offering superb beaches and fish restaurants. Praia da Rocha is about 20 minutes away and Potimao 25 minutes. Lagos offers good restaurants and shops and is about 30 minutes by car.
Golf
Penina golf is a 5 minute drive. Alto golf and Palmares is about a 15 minute drive. Freshwater fishing ( carp & bass ) available nearby
How to get there
Faro airport is approx 45 minutes from the villa by car. Car hire is recommended but it is possible to take a coach from the airport to Alvor and then hire a taxi to the villa.
Distances
10 minute drive to Alvor, 20 minutes to Praia da Rocha, 25 minutes to Portimao and 30 minutes to Lagos. There are numerous good restaurants just 5 minutes from the villa by car.
Further Details
There are 3 good supermarkets within a 5-10 minute drive from the villa. You will also find cash machines inside the supermarkets. Portimao has some very good shops and restaurants, and of course, banks. Plenty of free parking along the harbour in Portimao! Nearby to the villa you will find some good local restaurants, just a 5 minute drive away.
Lagos is a quaint old town with good shops, restaurants and a historic fort. Superb marina and beaches too.
Booking notes
Please first email to check availability. If the villa is available, we will send a Reservation Agreement for your signature and return with a 20% deposit and £50 breakages deposit. Remainder due at least 8 weeks before you travel.
The deposit will be returned at the end of your stay less any charges for damage or excessive cleaning.
