The villa comprises well equipped kitchen, a spacious living/dining area, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, one full bathroom plus an outside shower room and WC, convenient for the pool and patio areas. Close to beaches, golf courses, horse riding, cycling, sailing, diving and water parks. Within 30 mins drive of the new F1 autodrome, Portimao. Walking distance from the nearby Hotel del Rei with spa/massage facilities, bar and restaurant open to non residents. 10 minutes drive from pretty fishing town of Carvoeiro, supermarkets and restaurants. Ideal for romantic holiday or families. Only 40 minutes drive from Faro airport. Car hire is essential. This villa is next door to Property Number P7972 and both can be rented together making them the ideal destination for more than one family or family and friends.

The kitchen is well equipped with gas hob, electric oven, fridge with a freezer compartment, small dishwasher and microwave oven. The marble work surfaces provide an ample work area. The kitchen overlooks the pool, patio and BBQ area.
A washing machine is situated on the roof terrace.
The spacious living room has an airy feeling with its high ceiling and is comfortably furnished with 2 sofas, TV, DVD and music centre. The dining area overlooks the pool with arched double doors leading out onto the patio.
Towels and linen are included but please bring your own beach/pool towels. You may hire Beach/pool towels at the villa, 5 euros per towel per week, paid locally. The maid visits 3 times a week and linen is changed weekly.

Important notes on accommodation
This villa is suitable for children as the house opens straight out onto the pool and patio area providing a good view of the pool area, the pool is 1m at the shallow end and 2m at the deep end.

Quintinha do Rosal is set it its own private gardens, the main sunbathing area is on the patio around the private heated pool which is 10x5m. There are 2 sun loungers and 2 reclining sun chairs for relaxing around the pool and patio. A covered BBQ and outside eating area is situated on the patio next to the pool. Overlooking the back garden is a traditional Portuguese table and bench set which is ideal for breakfast and lunch. Steps lead from the garden to the private roof terrace where you can see beautiful surrounding countryside and the Monchique mountains in the distance.
The nearest beach is Marinha which is 3km away, Benagil and Albandeira beaches are also close by. The Algarve has many beaches to choose from.
Quintinha do Rosal is within 30 minutes drive of many golf courses, the closest being, Milho, Gramacho and Pinta, all within 10 minutes drive.
How to get there
Faro airport is 40 mins drive away.
Carvoeiro and Armacao de Pera are 10mins drive away, Lagoa and Porches are 5mins drive away and Portimao and Silves is 15 mins drive away.
The villa is situated approximately 6 km from the fishing village of Carvoeiro with its bars, restaurants and other nightlife. The closest beach is 3 km away and there are several other beaches within 15 minutes drive. There is a large supermarket 10 minutes drive away. Facilities such as waterparks, Zoomarine, golf courses, horse riding, sailing and scuba diving are all within easy reach.
There are 3 restaurants within walking distance of the villa; the nearest 500m away is within a hotel spa resort with restaurant, bar and spa facilities open to non residents. Other activities available are mountain biking and guided walks. The Moorish town of Silves with its dominating castle, market and acres of orange groves is a short drive away.
Retail parks and extensive shopping facilities can be found in Portimao just 15 minutes away and at Algarve Shopping near Albufeira which is less than 20 minutes drive away.

Having stayed in several villas in the area we definately felt yours was the most homely and well kept. We thought the pool area was particularly beautiful and the planting around it meant that it was private and sheltered without being too enclosed. Both your housekeeper and gardener were very courteous, discrete and hard-working. We saw from the guest book that many people seem to return to the villa and i think it's safe to that we will too. Hello. Prior to being an "Owner" I was a nurse, I qualified when I was 21 and worked in a large hospital for many years before having my two boys who are now teenagers. I am married and spend most of my time in the home here and in Portugal. In my spare time I ride horses and arrange the villa rentals!
