Changeover day
There is no set changeover day but on the day of departure we would like the villa vacated by 10am so that we clean and prepare the villa for the next guests.

Coast/Beach
The beaches of Arrifana and Monte Clerigo are a 5 minute drive and ideal for surfing. Amoreira is around 15 minutes drive through Aljezur or you can wade the river which is much quicker. The standard of surfing in the area is excellent.

Travel
Faro airport is 125 km away and easily accessible via the A22 and N120, journey time around 1 hour 10 minutes. Lisbon is around a 3 hr drive.

About the owner
I am from Wales and married to a school teacher. We have been visiting Vale da Telha in Portugal pretty much every year since my honeymoon in 2004. We decided to take the plunge and build a new villa last year and we are very happy with how it has turned out.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
My husbands parents live in the area and we often go to visit. We fell in love with Vale da Telha and decided to build there ready for our retirement.
