'Jardim Do Sol' is a beautiful 3 bedroom villa which sleeps 6 and has its own secluded garden and pool. So ideal for that peaceful break. It is set in the heart of the Algarve in the little town of 'Cerro Do Ouro' a quiet country property which is a ten minute drive from Albufeira. If you are looking for beaches why not visit one of a host of local coastal treats and enjoy the Algarve at its very best. If its nightlife you're after, take a ten minute ride to the vibrant 'Albufeira' to taste to varied street entertainment within 'Old Town', or two minutes on from there the life and soul of 'the strip'.( just 10 euros in a cab).

Changeover day
Changeover Thursday or Saturday. 2pm Arrival time, 10am Departure time. We can be flexible with days according to bookings.

Notes on accommodation
All bedrooms are tastefully decorated and have fitted wardrobes. Cot and high chair available on request. Wood burning fire for those cooler evenings or romantic nights in! Property is suitable for children with electric gates for security.
Outside
Traditional brick built BBQ located at the front of the villa. The beautifully landscaped secluded garden and pool area, looking out into the countryside, is fantastic for a relaxing peaceful break in the winter or the Summer, with out door games available for your fun. A selection of sun beds and umbrella's for lazy sun days! . Boasting electric gates to the front of the property, and a new garage for keeping the car cool and secure.
Coast/Beach
A ten minute drive will take you to Gale Beach, where you can walk along the beautiful clifftops, taking in the stunning scenery. Or paddle your toes in the sea along the golden sands. Choose one of 3 beach side restaurants for your refreshment. Several other beaches are 15-20 minutes drive away
Golf
The Villa is within a 10 minutes drive of Pine Cliff, Balaia Golf, Salgados Golf courses. A further 10 courses are reachable within a 30 minutes drive.
Travel
Faro Airport is a 20-30 minute drive away. Car hire is recommended.
Distances
Paderne castle - 5 minutes, Ferrairas - 5 minutes, Albufiera - 10 minutes, Almancil - 15 minutes. All just a short drive away.

Prices are weekly and for a maximum of 6 guests. 25% deposit payable within 7 days of booking, and balance due 6 weeks before arrival. £100 damages deposit payable with final balance (refundable).

About the owner
Hi! We live in Portsmouth in England and we bought our property in Portugal three years ago. We spend as much time as possible there because we absolutely love the smells and sounds of the countryside. We live in a busy town in the UK, so to see the sheep and the farmer rounding them is a luxury for us. We have the best of both worlds there being so close to everywhere, we love the coast and the beautiful beaches, some fantastic scenery too.
We love organising all the clients, reading the messages and realising that lots of other people enjoy Jardim do Sol as much as we do. We called our villa Jardim do Sol, as this means Garden of Sun. An ideal name for our perfect little corner of the world one that we are happy to share with you. John and Wendy.
Why the owner chose a home in this location
The location of cerro do ouro is perfectly situated for us, within 10 minutes you can be beside the seaside on the most stunning beaches, or 10 minutes in the opposite direction, right in the heart of Portuguese life! Perfect peace in the villa and gardens while you chill out in the sun, or ten minutes away the hussle and bussle of Albuferia!!!
