Our beautifully furnished 2 bedroom apartment is located on the ground floor of a fabulous new complex overlooking Nazaré, on the Silver Coast. Set in a peaceful location, the open roof terraces offer fantastic ocean views. Nazaré, with its cobbled streets, superb beach, harbour, marina, water park, numerous cafes, shops, bars and restaurants, offers a great holiday destination with traditional Portuguese charm. The beach is only a 10 min walk, as is the funicular railway linking Nazare with the historical cliff top village of Sitio. Each room in our luxurious apartment benefits from direct access to one of the totally enclosed private terraces. A unique feature is our large private rear terrace - the only one of its type on the complex to attract the morning sun and afford uninterrupted views. The front one, bathed in afternoon sunshine, overlooks the pool area. Both terraces are safe for children, the front one having a lockable gate, with access to the pool area. UK Satellite TV.

Changeover day
Flexible. To allow for cleaning, arrival no earlier than 3pm. Departure by 10am. Should this present a problem, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Bathrooms: Stylish bathroom with bath/shower over, wc, bidet, washbasin with vanity unit, illuminated wall mirror, shaving point and heated towel rail.
Kitchen: Large modern fully equipped kitchen with table seating six. Patio doors leading onto furnished terrace overlooking the pool. Oven, 4 ring hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, iron/ironing board, etc.
Living Rooms: Spacious lounge/dinning room. Patio doors leading to large furnished terrace overlooking pool. Two leather sofas (one a double sofa bed), dining table seating six. 32" HD ready flat screen TV with UK Satellite channels. DVD player, selection of DVDs.
Other: Entry to apartment via a secure video entry phone system. All the patio doors have pull down shutters. Gas and smoke alarms are fitted for your safety. Free access to a communal gym and sauna, with shower and wc.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Bed linen and towels are included (not beach towels). The property is cleaned before and after use, at no extra cost. Additional cleaning can be arranged at an extra charge upon request. Vacuum cleaner and cleaning materials provided for your convenience.

 

Notes on accommodation
Freesat Satellite TV with onscreen guide in English. All BBC channels, ITV, Channels 4 and 5, Children's channels, Movie channels, Radio channels and many more. Satellite TV is unique to our apartment. A travel cot, high chair, baby blankets, plastic cups, plates, knives, forks, spoons are provided for our younger guests. Sorry, no pets. Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment. Ashtrays are provided for smoking on the terraces. Central heating is available during the cooler months at no extra cost. A portable radio/CD player is provided - strictly for use only within the apartment.

Accessibility
Access to the apartment is via a stairway, rendering it unsuitable for wheelchair users. Due to the elevated position of the complex, car hire is recommended for those with mobility problems. Free parking.

Outside
Large furnished, fully enclosed private terraces to the front and rear of the apartment. The front terrace has a lockable gate leading down to the pool area, making it safe for children. Shared swimming pool and childrens pool are located in a lovely lawned area, discretely fenced and gated for safety. Pool showers, sunloungers, seating and wc's. Traditional brick built barbecues with seating are located at ground level, with additional barbecues on the extensive open roof terraces. Private parking is available to the front and rear of the apartment complex.

Coast/Beach
The main beach at Nazaré is a superb expanse of clean golden sand, and is a 10 minute walk from the apartment. North and south of Nazare are many other beautiful beaches. Those at Sao Martinho do Porto and Sao Pedro de Moel are both within a 20 minute drive.

Golf
Praia D'el Ray and Golden Eagle golf courses are of championship standard, and are both under 45 minutes drive from Nazare.

Travel
Lisbon Airport - 1:10 hours drive.
Porto Airport - 2:30 hours drive.
Faro Airport - 3:30 hours drive.
Major motorway links from all 3 airports make access to Nazaré straightforward.
Car Hire is recommended.

Distances
The magnificent monasteries of Alcobaca and Batalha (both UNESCO World Heritage Sites), the castle of Leiria, the spa town of Caldas da Rainha and the beautiful medieval walled town of Obidos, are all within 30 minutes by car. The famous pilgrimage site of Fatima is less than an hours drive away and Lisbon, the vibrant capital of Portugal is only 75 minutes by car. A good public transport system is also available, especially the express bus service to Lisbon.

Further details
A 5 minute downhill walk will bring you to the closest supermarket - Pingo Doce. Greater choice is available at Continente/Modelo, a large modern supermarket with ATM, chemist and laundry facilities - 3/4 minutes drive away. Nazaré has a daily market, together with numerous small local shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, banks and a post office. Leisure activities in the area include: walking, cycling, sailing, diving, canoeing, fishing, surfing, wind surfing, horse riding, golf. A sports center with indoor swimming pool and tennis courts is located near the complex. The Norpark water park, close to Sitio, is a short drive away. Booking notes
A deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking and the balance 6 weeks prior to arrival. A refundable security deposit of £150/€200 against damages/breakages is required, when the balance is due.
