Welcome to Paraiso! (Paradise) As soon as you arrive in this part of Praia Da Luz you will feel an immediate sense of calm and tranquillity. The sea is just steps away, the bay of Luz (the one in the picture) a 10 min walk and the town only 5 so you are positioned perfectly close to everything while also providing total relaxation at home away from any noise. It is a unique property, the outside kitchen (BBQ, cooking & dining area) with great sea views, the heated pool, terraces with sea views, garden with soft grass make it so perfect you will never want to leave. On the occasions when the evening is cooler you have the cosy lounge room with log fire, book and DVD case with many golden favourites and plenty of games. There is free WiFi for those that want to stay connected. This is a place you will want to come back to again and again. As the owners we regularly relax here and are delighted to share our little paradise with you your family and friends, Enjoy!

Coast/Beach
The glorious sandy beach of Praia da Luz is a 10 minute stroll away. Very safe for children, with the added attraction of rockpools at one end of the beach. Water sports are available, including banana rides and windsurfing. There are also a number of horse riding centres in the Luz area, which cater for all ages and levels of skill.
Golf
Four top-class golf courses are within 30 minutes drive. Parque de Floresta, Palmares, Penina and Boavista (just 5 minutes away).
Travel
Faro airport is approx. 55 min. drive with Hire cars and Taxis available. A new section of motorway(A22) opened in June 2003 connecting Faro to Lagos. Junction 1 is just 5 Kms from the Villa. Alternatively regular trains run between Faro and Lagos. The Villa is just a 10 min. taxi from the train station at Lagos. A car is not required but can be rented in the village for day trips to explore the Algarve. There is plenty of car parking space available for guests immediately outside the villa.
Distances
Paraíso da Luz is well situated in a peaceful, yet convenient location suitable for a family, beach, golf or walking holiday. The nearby resort of Parque de Floresta offers squash, archery, riding, a gym and a beauty salon. There are riding stables at Almadena offering rides in the unspoilt countryside. The market and fishing town of Lagos, with harbour, new sailing marina, markets, restaurants and shops is only 5 km.
Further details
Praia da Luz has surprising facilities for a village. There are lots of restaurants, catering for all tastes, as well as bars, banks, post office, and even a cinema. Several supermarkets are tucked away in the back streets. The largest (Baptista) offers telephone ordering and free delivery. There is a 24 hour medical facility as well as dentists.
Booking notes
A 25% deposit is required to confirm a booking.
The balance is due 4 weeks prior to arrival. An additional security deposit of £250 (€300) is required together with the balance. This will be refunded within 21 days of departure. Cancellation up to 4 weeks prior to the start date of the holiday will incur loss of deposit only. Less then 4 weeks prior 100% of the full payment is due.
Guest comments
If im totally honest there is nothing at all to improve on. We've stayed in a few villas and this was by far the best, even down to the fluffy towels in the bathroom.
We struggled with the oven but we called to ask how it worked and instead of talking us through it somebody was there in minutes so it was fab!
If you need any comments for your web site let me know as people need to know how lovely it is and how you don't need for anything - even egg cups! Nowhere has had egg cups when we've been in the past. (small things make all the difference - quite sad really isn't it)
My husband has always said that he wouldn't go to the same place twice and normally after a week he's bored but he wanted to stay and can't wait to go back!
