This unique Portuguese resort really offers something for everyone. 2 bedroom apartment on 2 floors with several balconies and small patio area. Sky FreeSat TV. Entrance to apartment hidden away down a small cobbled path. 1 bedroom apartment accessed from a narrow one way street in the next road but these properties share the same plot. Restaurants, supermarkets, banks and other shops with a short walk. Walk everywhere within 5 minutes! No need to hire a car. I can arrange airport transfers on request. Private patio entrance in quiet residential street. Double bedroom and twin bedroom both with balconies and plenty of storage space. One balcony with excellent south facing views over the old town, sunny all day and evening. Lounge, (travel cot available), Sky Freesat TV, Wi-Fi broadband internet, smaller balcony. Separate cloakroom downstairs. All kitchen equipment included i.e. microwave, hob, cooker, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, all utensils, plates, mugs. Weekly clean and change of linen and towels. Use of washing machine.

Double bedroom. Lounge with 4 & 2 seater sofas, table and chairs. Sky Free Sat TV, Wi-Fi broadband internet. Kitchen with all equipment included i.e. microwave, hob, cooker, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, all utensils, plates, mugs. Weekly change of linen and towels. Apartment cleaned weekly. Please note this apartment has no patio or outside area but does have a covered patio/conservatory style room.

 

Notes on accommodation
Both properties have separate private entrances in parallel streets. The 2 bed apartment entrance is via an access only cobbled footpath off the Travessa Alves Correia (nr the old taxi rank by the square opposite Ali Baba Chinese restaurant). The house backs onto Rua Alves Correia and the access for the 1 bedroom apartment is from this street. Parking is available in streets nearby. Pay car park in the next street, ideal for loading luggage.

Accessibility
There are 6 steps from the footpath to the private front patio and front door of the two bedroom apartment. It is safe for children with security bars on all windows/balconies, and no passing traffic. There is one step into the one bedroom apartment from the road.

Outside
You could have a perfect holiday without having to walk for more than 5 mins in any direction. Numerous restaurants, cafes and bars to suit all tastes and pockets in the nearby square. Close to beautiful sandy Fishermans Beach. The 'Strip' is only a short taxi ride away, with its neverending bars, discos and nightclubs for those who like to party till late. For the younger ones Zoomarine, Slide & Splash, and karting are all a short drive away.

Coast/Beach
The beaches in Portugal are beautiful and what's more are within a few minutes walk of the apartment (no exaggeration) Fishermen's beach, Peneco beach and Inatel beach all have beach sport facilities during the summer (and lifeguards). e.g., banana boat, paragliding, sea fishing, coastal cruises, beach volleyball, football, etc. Firework displays on festival days, numerous concerts, cinema on the beach and activities for children in the summer.

Golf
The nearest golf courses like the Old Course, Pinhal, Millennium and Victoria in Vilamoura and the Salgados Golf Course in Galé are within 15 minutes distance by car. All golf can be organised via the excursion offices, they pick you up and take you and you just play the golf!

Travel
Car hire not necessary as there are many shuttle services from Faro airport which I can arrange on request.
The Albufeira Tourist Train and Giro Bus Shuttle pass nearby every half hour. From Ferreiras station (Albufeira) 5 minutes by car/taxi, it is possible to visit Lisbon on the tilting fast train in about 2.5hrs. A railway runs right along the Algarve with stops near many of the main towns between Faro and Lagos in the west. The local bus service is very good.

Algarve shopping - 5 km.
Zoo Marine - 8 km.
Waterparks - 15 km.
Portimao - 40 km.
Lagos - 60 km.

Further details
A wide variety of restaurants, supermarkets, banks and other shops are in a very short walking distance. Modelo's/Continente large supermarket/store is within a 10 min walk. The Algarve Shopping Centre with many restaurants, shops, cinema and bowling is a 5 mins drive away.
