The complex 'Villa da Praia' is in an excellent location 300 metres from the beach, 3 mins walk to Alvor centre. It's location provides easy access to a number of top golf courses. The complex has a lovely garden area, which surrounds the 2 swimming pools, one for adults and one for children. The self catering 1 bedroom apartment, sleeps 2/3 people.

Changeover day
Check in is after 14:00 hrs on arrival day, and check out is before 10:00. Other arrangements are possible if no other guests are coming in/going out the same day.

Our apartment is non smoking and we request that guests only smoke on the balcony. Personal insurance during your stay is your responsibility. Safe is provided. We request that children staying, do not use drawing materials in the apartment, crayons, markers, chalk, paints.

Alvor wonderful sandy beach is 4km long, unspoilt and amongst the best in the world from our apartment it is about 100m.
Golf
Location provides easy access to a number of top golf courses one which is only 3 kms away or 3 within 7 km.
Travel
Travel to Faro Airport 45 mins drive will bring you to Alvor. We can arange transport to and from the airport on request.
Further details
The local food just has to be tried, with fresh fish straight from the mornings catch. Most restaurants have charcoal grills, producing some of the best food of the region. There is also a good selection of Pizza restaurants, Chinese, Indian's and good Steak Houses. Some of the bars have live music. There are also quieter bars for those who prefer the sound of good conversation. Typical tourist shops in Alvor. For a good days shopping go to the Aqua shopping just Open in April 2011 it is only 5km away. Plenty of shops and food eatery/restaurants.
Booking notes
Prices are quoted in Euro, and are based on 3 people sharing. A deposit of 30% is payable at time of booking to confirm your reservation. The remaining 70% balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival. Payment is by bank transfer or Cheque. Please note the deposit is non-refundable. We reserve the right to refuse bookings. We do not take wedding parties or bookings of part of a large group (Hen or stag parties). We will not refund deposits if a booking is found to be part of a large group.

Jenny. We had a fantastic week in Alvor. The apartment itself was perfect - clean, spacious, great location and a great balcony for the sunsets! The complex aswell also suited all our needs. Can pick no fault at all apart from the fact that we had to come home!

I am Jenny, my husband Conor and I live in Cork, Southern Ireland. I do catering and events for a living and my husband is a Engineer. We have a 6 year old son who keeps us very busy.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We had been to Alvor a few time and loved it but could not find accommodation we were happy with, on a visit to Alvor, we stayed in Villa Da Praia and loved it. We had never discussed buying an apartment abroad. We had fallen in love with Alvor and then the complex, buying the apartment was one of the best decision we ever made. The old fishing village charm, yet busy and bustling atmosphere, and the superb restaurants. The beach must be one of the best in Europe and to sit in one of the beach Restaurants and watch the sun set is heaven to us as our son plays in the sand. We have made so many friend over the years.
Unique benefits of the property
Location, Location Location, we are just 3 minute walk from the cetre of the village and a 5 minute walk to the beach. All apartments in our complex are privately owned, so the complex grounds and the swimming pool with the shady palm trees are very well maintained. Our apartment is very comfortably furnished. We visit regularly and keep the apartment up to a good standard. We have a balcony that get evening sun, this is where we sit and people watch. We have a full bathroom, sitting room/dining area, double bedroom and our kitchen that over looks the courtyard. We just love it and we get a lot of repeat business so we must be doing something right.
