We offer discounts for longer winter lets. 1, 2 and 3 house options available all year. Cot beds, highchairs and toys available at no extra cost. The third column is a combination of 2 x 3 bedroom houses and 1 x 2 bedroom house. For combination of 2 x 2 bedroom and 1 x 3 bedroom house, sleeping up to 16, prices are 100 euros less per week.

Changeover day
Changeover days are flexible, as are arrival and departure times.

The house has an area of 100m2 over two floors with 20m2 of terraces plus two big patios with pergolas on ground level. The outdoor space is comfortable and private, with views over the nature.
The living room is spacious and cool, with two large sofas, and opens through double sliding glass doors on to a large terrace facing the lake.
All rooms have doors and windows with sliding mosquito nets, double glazing, shutters and blinds. The rooms are all cool and spacious with marble floors.
There is a 20"TV with sky tv channels, DVD and CD player. The kitchen is open plan with a granite worktop and dining table. It is all modern and fitted, with electro - ceramic hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle and coffee maker.
There are double and twin bedrooms upstairs which both lead on to a 20m2 terrace overlooking the lake. The other double bedroom links to the living room.
There are two large bathrooms with stone floored shower, bath tub, toilets and sinks.

The house has an area of 70m2 and is on the ground floor. There are also two large patios, one facing south, the sea and the lake, partially shaded with a pergola and the other facing north ideal for catching wonderful sunsets. Ample outdoor spaces for enjoying the climate and nature.

This 70m2 apartment is on one floor on the first floor. It has wonderful views of the sea and countryside and overlooking the lake. The space is very large and light with high ceilings.
The living room has 2 large sofas and looks out over the lake and has a terrace and stairs leading down to the gardens and lake.
There is TV with sky tv channels, DVD and CD player. The kitchen is open plan with a granite worktop and dining table. It is all modern and fitted, with electro - ceramic hob and oven, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle and cofee maker.
There is a bathroom with a large marble shower, sink and toilet. There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin with bunk bed which has a double bunk below and a single on top.
All rooms are spacious and light, with marble floors and double glazing sliding doors and windows with sliding mosquito nets, shutters and blinds. The front of the apartment also has a marble terrace accessed by an exterior staircase. All terraces have garden furniture.

The owners normally live at the end of the property. All four properties are inter connecting (only if required), apart from the Quintamar Quatro, which is on the top floor.
For large groups wishing to rent the entire property - this gives access to a total of 10 bedrooms, with a sleeping capacity of 23 people.
Any combination of the houses can be made available - subject to availability.
For further details, please contact the owners. An end cleaning charge of 100 euros is required for rental combinations of 3 or 4 houses.

 

Notes on accommodation
The houses are luxurious, cool and light, with marble floors throughout which help maintain the freshness. Fans are also supplied. All furnishing is new, modern and comfortable.
The terraces all have garden furniture, sun loungers and bbqs. There is a sandpit and bbq area for all to use. Large lawns for games near parling area at front of property. A playground area with pirate ship, swings and outdoor eating and cooking area located next to a small animal enclosure.
The houses have wood burning stoves installed, which are contained so that hot air circulates and no smells or smoke can escape. They are very effective and easy to operate.

Outside
The grounds are open fields with olive and almond trees, bordered by country lanes which lead to the fishing village, river, beach island or town of Tavira.
The lake is biological and has an area of 375 sq.m. Half is purposely made for swimming and the other half for plants, which oxygenise and clean the water. It is very beautiful and ecological, attracting many kinds of birds and wildlife.
One side of the lake has lawns and wooden decks and the other has pebbles leading to a shady area with a dove house and farmbird enclosure. There is a sandpit with toys and a large barbeque area for all to use. Plus a playground area with swings and a pirate ship besides a small animal enclosure. At the front of the house is a large lawn area and parking places.
Quintamar is family friendly and good for large groups.
An idyllic and very peaceful location with easy walking access to everything.

Coast/Beach
The beach Islands of the Ria Formosa are renowned for being peaceful and uncrowded. They extend to 12 km of sandy beaches reached by foot, boat or by little train.
Barril beach is the closest and is accessed either by foot via country lanes or train or Santa Luzia beach which has a boat service. Both can be reached within about 15 minutes.

Tavira Island has a good selection of restaurants and bars plus a camping ground and is more active in the high season, there is a constant boat service.

Golf
There are four golf courses in the area. About 5km away is the newly built Quinta Da Ria golf course which has beautiful courses on the coast.

Travel
Faro airport is 35km away. Car hire is optional. bicycles can easily be rented and are suitable for the terrain and distances.

Distances
Tavira is a 5 minute car drive away and about 30 minutes by foot through quiet country lanes. Santa Luzia fishing village is nearer, about 15 minutes by foot. Spain is about 25km away and Seville can be reached easily by car in 1.5 hours.

Further details
There are plenty of restaurants in Santa Luzia, renowned for fresh fish and seafood. Restaurants, cafes and small shops dot the river side.
Tavira has a big supermarket and many shops and amenities plus numerous restaurants, bars and cafes.
There are many beautiful sites in and around Tavira, including waterfalls and hilltop hamlets.

We accept payments in euros by bank transfer. Transfer costs to be covered by guests. 50% within one week of confirming booking and balance up to 8 weeks before arrival. Bookings less than 4 weeks before arrival, 100% payable at time of booking. Guests will be met at the house and will have a contact number in case any assistance is required.

4-8 weeks – 50% of rate refunded
