Casa Solmar (Sun Sea Home) is situated in an excellent location in the centre of Carvoeiro. It is a part of the Popular Monte Dourado Resort. There are two nice verandas with seating and dining area to enjoy the Sunshine. The main bedroom is en suite and the guest bedroom has an adjoining bathroom. The living/dining room area is spacious & bright with TV DVD and radio cassette player. The kitchen is equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, electric cooker, microwave etc. All rooms lead to a veranda. Casa Solmar has private access to a very secluded pool & sunbathing area (bring your own beach towels). There are 2 tennis courts in the complex. Within 2 min walk: mini markets, banks, post office, buses, taxis, pharmacy and the many acclaimed bars and restaurants of Carvoeiro. Ideally located for the many famous golf courses of the Algarve. Joe and Aileen will meet you on arrival and will be available for any further help you may require.

Casa Solmar has private access to a very secluded large & small pool, sunbathing, toilet & shower area. There are two tennis courts on the complex & John Lloyds tennis complex nearby. Car not essential. Plenty on street parking if necessary. Carvoeiro: This one time fishing village is one of Algarves most popular self catering resorts. 3 min walk to beach, shops, public transport etc.
Coast/Beach
Carvoeiro is an attractive seaside resort cut into red cliffs with beautiful cliff top walks. A traditional way of life still thrives alongside a modern resort. There are many nice beaches to visit within 3km of Carvoeiro: Praia de Centianes, Praia de Carvalho, Praia de Benagil, Praia de Albandeira & Praia de Marinha which is one of the six Government designated golden beaches in Portugal singled out because of their water purity & beauty.
Golf
Golf Information: Casa Solmar is ideally situated for all the famous golf courses of the Algarve. There is a 9-hole par 3 golf course in Carvoeiro 'Vale de Milho', and 2 championship courses 10 minutes drive 'Gramacho' and 'Pinta'. Vale de Lobo, Vilamoura and Penina & others are within 30 minutes drive of the apartment. A golfers paradise.
Travel
Faro International Airport is approx. 45 Minutes drive away(55km). We can arrange Airport tranfers if required.
Nearest beach: 500 metres.
There are Bus & collection services to & from the Waterparks, Zoomarine, horse riding, Krazy World etc.
Car: not necessary
There is a National Bus Terminal in Lagoa at 5km with Expressways servicing Spain & Portugal. There are 9 buses per day servicing Carvoeiro.

Booking notes
Payment by bank transfer. 30% deposit to confirm booking. Balance by bank transfer to be paid 8 weeks before arrival.
£100 security deposit with payment which is returnable provided there is no loss or damage to the apartment or its contents. It is our policy as far as possible to meet all our guests on arrival to see them settle in.
Casa Solmar is a non smoking environment. We do however provide ashtrays for use on verandas.

We have had a fantastic holiday in Carvoeiro!! Casa Solmar is a lovely apartment, cosy and perfectly placed for everything we needed to do on our holiday. A little stroll to the beach, lots of lovely restaurants, great swimming pool….. all on our doorstep.
