Faro (35 km) is the nearest airport. Car hire recommended to explore the many places of interest nearby.
Distances
5 mins walking distance to Conceicao, bus (to Tavira/Vila Real) and train stations. 10 mins walking distance to Cabanas village center. 3km to Tavira, 15km to Monte Gordo (casino), 35km to the Spanish border. Tavira, Faro and the West Algarve can be reached by train. Train/bus service to Vila Real (ca. 20/30 mins) and then to Ayamonte in Spain by ferry (ca. 5 mins). Train station to ferry ca. 15 mins walk, bus stop just outside pier.
