1 Bedroom Attached Villa (Sleeps 2/3)

1 double bedroom with built in wardrobes, and a separate shower room with toilet and washbasin A fold out single bed suitable for a child is available on request (small charge) Large lounge with satellite TV, DVD player and stereo, and lots of books and games. The kitchen is fully fitted with electric cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. There is a dining table in the kitchen and outside a small barbeque with table and chairs. A spiral staircase outside leads to a large roof terrace with panoramic views, ideal for private sunbathing A washing machine is available on site.

2 Bedroom Log Cabin (Sleeps 4)

Log cabin with one bedroom with double bed and one bedroom with two singles. Shower room with toilet and washbasin Lounge with TV and stereo and dining area . Ceiling fans for warmer evenings and a rustic log burner to make it warm and cosy on those cooler evenings Open kitchen with cooker, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. Washing machine available on site. A cot is available on request. Small lawned area outside with table and chairs

Chalet Log Cabin (Sleeps 3)

Log cabin with one bedroom with double bed and gallery bedroom with single bed . Lounge with tv and stereo, ceiling fan and dining area and separate kitchen with cooker, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. Washing machine available on site. Large shower room with toilet and washbasin. Small lawned area outside with table and chairs.

Notes on accommodation
The gallery bedroom in the chalet log cabin is recommended for children of 6 years upwards due to the wooden stairs that access it. The two bedroom cabin is ideal for winter breaks, warm and cosy with a log burner. Initial logs supplied free of charge, then 6 euros per supply. The villa can also be heated during the winter months by gas central heating at a charge of 75 euros per week, to be booked in advance.
Single fold out bed charge of 5 euros per night.

Outside
The two log cabins share a private garden, and the villa has a lawned area outside. There is a large 10x5 swimming pool for the use of all units surrounded by terracing wih sunbeds and a poolside bar serving draught beer, cocktails and snacks and ice cream (High season). A large barbeque and rotisserie are available. There is also a sauna and Jacuzzi available all year. Sessions for either of these are 5 euros per person or a whole week can be booked at 30 euros per person. The grounds are enclosed and gated with lawns and mature gardens.

Coast/Beach
Many good beaches are within reach the nearest being 3km which is the longest sandy beach on the Algarve providing numerous water sports. The surfing beaches on the west coast are a twenty minute drive. There are also many smaller secluded beaches nearby.

Golf
There are four first class golf courses within a 20 minute drive, they are Penina, Palmares, BoaVista and Parque da Floresta.

Special interest holidays
Astronomy evenings can be arranged with the use of large telescopes.

Travel
Faro airport is approx 80km, or one hour on new motorway. Car hire is recommended and can be arranged on request.
Airport transfers can also be arranged.

Distances
The nearest village with several traditional restaurants and grocery shop is a short distance and the large town of Lagos with its many bars, restaurants, clubs, shops and marina is 3 km. Lagos is an old walled historic town with cobbled streets and old buildings.

Further details
In the local area there is opportunity to go horse riding, local walking, tennis, golf, fishing, sailing, parascending, microlite flying ,archery and many more activities.
There is a small zoo nearby, a marine park and two water parks.

Balance to be paid on arrival in euros.
A security deposit of 150 euros cash or £100 cheque must be paid on arrival to cover breakages, and will be returned at the end of the stay.

‘What can we say? Just arrived back from a great 10 day break and we can't recommend Quinta dos Altos highly enough We rented the 1 bed log cabin - everything you need and more ( seperate bedroom with comfy double bed, bathroom with good shower, loo and basin & endless hot water, kitchen with oven, hob ,microwave , TV. ,Hi-fi, Wireless Internet access....we could go on. John, Wendy and Jack made us very welcome and very soon felt like long standing friends. Nothing was too much trouble. If you are expecting 5 star hotel room luxury then that isn't Quinta dos Altos ( although you could be forgiven for mistaking the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, BBQ and flowered gardens for 5 star). This is a very nice log cabin and represents fantastic value for money. Lagos is only a few minutes away by car (and there is a bus route nearby) If we didn't have to work, we'd still be there now! We will most certainly be back to recreate one of our nicest, friendliest holidays Malcolm & Sarah Freeman.
