Luxury and very spacious apartment (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) in a peaceful setting amongst pine trees on the 10th fairway of Alto Golf, yet less than 100 metres from the club house. There is a communal swimming pool set in landscaped gardens. The apartment is only 3 minutes drive from the picturesque fishing village of Alvor and superb local beaches. An adjoining property ref P1568 is owned by the same family, so we can accept up to 10 people.

Living Rooms: Large lounge/ diner with dining table and 6 chairs. 3 piece suite (6 seats ). TV, video, satellite with main UK TV channels. CD and stereo system ( with Ipod access ). Access to large balcony.

Terrace at the rear of apartment set in landscaped gardens with table,chairs,& loungers. Shared swimming pool 60 meters away also set in landscape gardens.

Coast/Beach
15 minutes walk to nearest beach.Some of the Algarve's best beaches (Alvor, Praia Da Rocha, Praia do Vau) are less than 5 minutes drive away.

Golf
On 10th fairway of Alto golf course 100 metres from club house (The course was the last to be designed by the late Sir Henry Cotton and is a challenging parkland course close to the sea). Stunning views from balcony overlooking the golf course and The Monchique mountains. Excellent driving & practice range within 5 minutes walk. Many other excellent courses within 20 minutes drive (Boavista, Palmares, Penina, Pinta, Gramacho, Quinta de Morgado, Salgados). Guests have access to reduced green fee rates.

Travel
Faro airport 45 minutes drive - new road improvements have made this drive very straightforward. The new motorway has also opened up the whole of the beautiful unspoilt Western Algarve. A Hire car means that you get the most from this fantastic area as well as getting to other golf courses - we can advise of hire companies which provide some of the best rates. Taxis are readily available and reasonably priced.

Distances
All by car : Lagos 20 minutes, Monchique mountains 30 minutes, Portimao 5 minutes, Alvor 3 minutes.
Small nearby supermarket 300 metres. Large hypermarket and shops 5 mins by car.

Further details
Alvor is a picturesque fishing village with a maze of cobbled streets full of busy restaurants specialising in fresh fish which is barbequed outside. There are many international restaurants as well as bars which have excellent nightlife. Praia da Rocha offers restaurants and nightlife and Portimao offers many shops as well as restaurants and nightlife. (we have a guest book in the apartment with a recommended list of restaurants).
