The annexe of this recently refurbished farmhouse is peacefully located among the rolling, green hills 10 km north of Loulé on the outskirts of Funchais, a typical Algarvean village. It is situated just 30 mins from Faro airport, 30 mins from the beaches and only 10 mins from the picturesque market town of Loulé. The annexe is completely private and self-contained. The owner lives next door in the farmhouse and is on hand to assist guests if required. If you want to get away from it all and enjoy a tranquil holiday in the real Algarve, in the sun but away from the hustle and bustle of the coast, this is an ideal location.

Outside
Outside there is a small patio with table and chairs under an almond tree. The swimming pool (which is 25ft long x 15ft wide x 4ft deep) has ample terrace area with sun loungers and umbrellas. Alongside the pool is a further seating area and a barbecue. There is a large garden with plenty of room for children to play.

Coast/Beach
30 mins by car.

Travel
Airport: 30 mins Faro airport.
Car Hire: A hire car is essential and can be arranged if required. Please note that drivers must be in possession of their passport and driving licence at all times.

Further details
Funchais is the nearest village, which is a 5 min walk down a steep hill. It has a cafe/bar with a pool table and television.
Aldeia da Tor is about 3 mins drive or 20 mins walk and has a Portuguese village shop, church and post office.
Loulé, 10 mins drive away, is the nearest town and has a cinema, modern supermarkets including Lidl Continente and Modelo, plus all the usual shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, pizza bar/takeaway and Chinese restaurant/takeaway. Held every Saturday, the large market in Loulé is a combination of gypsies and local farmers selling their wares. It is a wonderful place to buy souvenirs and do some bargaining for your purchases. There is also a lively fruit, vegetable, fish and meat market every weekday morning.
7km to the north is the unspoilt village of Salir with attractive houses, the remains of a castle and some great Portuguese restaurants. It has a bank a good supermarket and a tea shop/pizzaria.
