Our beautiful villa is situated in the typical Portuguese village of Almadena. It's ideal for a family holiday, with a lovely private pool, BBQ and all amenities for your comfort. The village is close to the pretty beaches of Praia da Luz and Burgau, and to the historic town of Lagos. The well known golf resorts of Parque da Floresta and Boa Vista are only a short distance away. Our villa is ideally situated to explore the dramatic coastline of the Western Algarve.

Changeover day
The changeover day is flexible.
Guests are asked to arrive after 4pm on their day of arrival and to vacate the villa by 10am on the day of departure, although this can be flexible if other bookings allow.

| Kitchen: | A modern, well equipped kitchen comprising oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer (American style), toaster and kettle. |

| Living Rooms: | A large, comfortable, open-plan area for lounging and dining, with patio doors to the front and TV (Freeview). |
| Other: | The music room off the lounge has a small bar area for your enjoyment. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Maid service is provided once a week when bed linen is changed and fresh towels are provided. Beach towels are not included. |
Notes on accommodation
There are heaters in the bedrooms, hall and lounge area. The gas fire is located in the lounge area.
Outside
The front garden is well kept, with planting. A mature lemon tree shades the front door. To the rear of the villa there is a large patio and private pool. Furniture for sunbathing and dining is along side the pool. The attractive barbecue area has an authentic bread oven.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful beach of Praia da Luz is only 4km away. It is a small family resort offering a wide choice of bars and restaurants. The unspoilt fishing villages of Burgau and Salema are only 3km and 7km respectively. The historic town of Lagos is 8km away. It has lovely old squares, pedestrian streets and pavement cafes and bars. The many shops sell everything from pottery and designer clothes to leather goods. Boat trips can be booked from the modern and impressive Marina.
Golf
There are two well known, golf resorts just a short distance away. The Boavista resort is just 5km from the villa. The Parque da Floresta resort is 6km away and also offers bowls, tennis, a gym, extensive spa facilities and restaurants.
Travel
The nearest airport of Faro is a 50 minute drive. Car hire is recommended.
Distances
The village of Almadena is close to some of the most beautiful beaches on the Westen Algarve. The resorts of Praia da Luz, Burgau and Salema are only short distances from our villa. The landmark of Cape St Vincent is approximately 25km. Inland, the picturesque Mounchique Mountains are 40km. A visit to the beautiful historic town of Silves, with its famous castle, is only 35km from the villa and is highly recommended.
Further details
Almadena has a small fish and vegetable market and a small supermarket within the square. There are a few small bars. There is a modern supermarket with cashpoint facilites in the resort of Praia da Luz and a smaller supermarket with cashpoint facilites just 3km from Almadena. Lagos has several hypermarkets, all with cashpoint facilities.

Prices are per week and in United Kingdom pounds.
Prices include a weekly clean, linen and towel change.
A complimentary Welcome Pack is provided for your arrival.
A 25% deposit and a bond of £200 (to be refunded on your return) are required when booking the villa. The balance is payable six weeks prior to the start of your holiday.
