This brand new 2 bed 2 bathroom apartment is ideally situated in the beautiful town of Lagos, both the marina and town centre are only a short walk from the apartment. The apartment is fully furnished and comes with all amenities required including surround sound system air-conditioning, satellite TV, spa bath, two balconies, one of which overlooks the pool. The apartment also has a dedicated underground car parking bay to keep your car cool during the summer. The historic town centre has a variety of restaurants and friendly bars providing great food and wine. Lagos is a traditional small coastal market town with a 14th century walled ''old town''. It has a bustling marina, lovely sandy beaches and everything you could ever desire for a wonderful family holiday! We have appointed a Portuguese Management Company with an English Manager to look after the apartment and to advise on airport transfers, welcome packs, toy boxes and general information regarding all aspects of your holiday.

Changeover day
We are flexible with the preferred changeover day and times of these, however we would request that you vacate the apartment by 10am on the morning of departure.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has a king size bed and patio doors leading to the balcony.
Bedroom 2 has twin beds and the option of a fold-down bed which can accommodate 3 Nos guests. This is beneficial for younger families. The living room has a double sofa bed.
Bathrooms: Bedroom 1 has an en-suite shower room. The main bathroom has a hydrotherapy bath, bidet and a shower.
Kitchen: Granite worktops inc breakfast bar, oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer, washing machine, iron & board. Patio doors lead to the second balcony which is furnished. Clothes dryer is also available.
Living Rooms: Lounge with two three seater sofas one of which converts into a sofa bed, TV/DVD, satellite TV, dining table with six chairs, electric blinds and sound system. Patio doors lead to the balcony overlooking the swimming pool which has a table and chairs.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen are included in the price. The flat will be cleaned once a week when towels and linen will be changed. Beach towels are provided, however these must be washed at the end of your visit. A charge will occur for any unwashed beach towels.

Notes on accommodation
Within the lounge there is an i-pod docking station, DVDs, games and books for children. Within bedroom 2 we can accommodate 3Nos children with the provision of a fold-down bed which can be made available upon request, this provides an easier option for families with 3Nos children. There is also a buggy, travel cot and high chair available at no additional cost, these also can be made available upon request.

The complex has a lift providing easy access to the second floor apartment

Outside
The kitchen patio opens out to the rear balcony which has a rattan table and chairs and is perfect for breakfast time as this receives the sun in the morning.The front balcony overlooking the beautifully landscaped pool area catches the sun all afternoon. This also has a rattan table and chairs and is ideal for drinks or dinner for 4. We also have 4Nos sun-loungers and a parasol for use at the pool.

Coast/Beach
There are several excellent beaches in and around Lagos, namely Praia Dona Ana and Meia Praia, however only a short drive away there is Batata beach, Salema beach, Luz beach (our favourite) and more. Please ask at time of booking.

Golf
There are 2Nos sets of golf clubs available to be used by our guests and these can be supplemented to provide 4nos sets with ease if required. There are several golf courses all within a short drive providing a challenge to all standards of golfers. Most appealing is Palmares Golf Course which is a 10-15 minute drive along the beach to a brand new 27 hole golf complex. This provides a stunning setting to play golf. You must play the 9 holes along the beach as these are fantastic! Another is Boavista, a beautiful golf course which is a 2 minute drive from the apartment, this also has wonderful facilities for all the family to enjoy whether you play golf or not!

Travel
Faro airport is only 50 minutes away by car. We can recommend car hire or our management company can arrange transfers if required. There is a regular local bus service which will take you to the local surrounding areas, the bus station is a short 5 minute walk away.

Distances
There is an international supermarket within a 2 minute walk. There are also several bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The old town is a 10 minute walk as is the marina.

We can supply further information at time of booking to provide names of restaurants, bars, beaches, golf courses, excursions that we would recommend. There is an extensive guide within the apartment which provides details of the surrounding area, places of interest, etc. This includes information on Lagos Zoo and Aqualand and also includes our own reviews of our favourite restaurants and bars. We love returning year after year and can't wait for our next visit - i'm sure you will feel the same!

Booking notes
Prices are in pounds sterling per night. Prices are based on up to four people sharing. Parties of more than four will incur additional costs. A 25% deposit will be required at time of booking, this can be paid directly into our bank account or by sending a cheque. The remainder will be due 6 weeks prior to arrival. A £200 refundable security / damage waifer will also be required with the final payment. This will be refunded within 28 days of you returning home. (normally within 14 days).

Guest comments
We loved the apartment which is immaculate with all requirements provided. We enjoyed exploring the shops and restaurants within the old town of Lagos which was within easy walking distance of the apartment. A taxi from the old town costs less than 4Euros. We fell in love with the Lagos area the first time we visited over 5 years ago and have been coming back ever since with our family. The town, marina, restaurants, golf, beaches, people and the place itself will have you wanting to return again and again!
