Accessibility
With prior arrangement, a special room at ground floor can be made available. The ground floor bathroom is designed to facilitate the use by people with disabilities, namely wheelchair users.

Outside
Private patio for car parking. Enclosed 3000 sqm garden great for playing football. Private heated swimming pool 12x4.5m in size and 1-1.5m deep. Gas barbacue and outdoor furniture.

Coast/Beach
The Moledo beach is 400m from the house and is excellent for surfing. The Afife beach is a 15 min drive away and is even better for surfing. The area's constant northern winds makes these beaches perfect for kite and wind surfing.

Golf
Ponte de Lima course is a typical mountain course, covering 6km adorned with luxurious vegetation and well restored, historical mansions, which supply infrastructure for golfing activity. The first nine holes are placed amongst age old trees (chestnut trees, cork and English oaks), leading through a ravine to Quinta da Anquiao, where holes number 1, 2, 8, and 9 provide glorious views over the Lima Valley and Viana do Castelo, a town 20 kilometres away, 18 holes, 35 mins drive.

Quinta da Barca is a nine hole course whose gentle design nevertheless demands some alert game strategy, 40 mins drive.

The Estela course is built on a three kilometre long stretch of sand dunes on the beautiful Minho coast line. This is one of the Portuguese golf links that secured a high reputation for itself when it was selected to host two events in the European Professionals' Circuit, 40 mins drive. Mondariz, in Spain, 18 holes, 1 hour drive.

Travel
The Oporto airport is 100km away and Ryanair flies to and from it. Use of car is essential.

Distances
The house is located in the quiet part of the village, 400m from the beach and village centre. In the village centre you can find cafes, restaurants and mini-markets.

The nearest town is Caminha that is 4.5km away. This town has a medieval wall and pleasant squares. There you have banks, supermarkets, restaurants, police, night clubs.

Vila Nova de Cerveira is 20 mins drive away and is similar to Caminha but has a wonderful outdoor market on Saturdays.

Further details
In the area you can go for hikes, bicycle trips, canoeing, boat trips and a whole range of water sports.

Booking notes
For booking, a 20% advance is required together with signing the rental contract, paying the rest upon arrival. A 2000€ security deposit is to be payed upon arrival and will be returned if no harm is done to the property. Payments by bank transfer.
