Casa Das Brisas is a magnificent, extremely spacious (450 sq.m) and beautifully designed villa which sits high up on an escarpment, some 3 miles from the Vilamoura coastal plain. This position gives it one of the finest views on the Algarve - overlooking Faro 15 miles to the East, all along the coast as far as the eye can see to Portimao 20 miles to the west and then sweeping inland overlooking the mountains of Monchique. This has to be one of the finest views on the Algarve. The superb position and privacy afforded by the surrounding stone walls allows the family to relax and enjoy the views (magnificent at night with all the coastal lights) and also the culture of rural Portugal with the local pretty villages of Picota, Parragil, Sau Faustino and Alfontes all within 1 mile.

Notes on accommodation
Air conditioning is fitted to all bedrooms, kitchen and dining room, although it is not normally necessary as all rooms have sliding doors equipped with mosquito netting and the villa enjoys constant breezes.
Accessibility
No steps at all inside ground floor. A wide staircase leads up to the panoramic lounge and terraces.
Three steps up to front door and one step into 3 east bedroom off swimming pool terrace that is level with the drive. Two steps up from this is the kitchen, dining room and master bedroom terrace.
Outside
The villa is set in a walled garden - with its own automatic irrigation.It contains nut, fig, orange and lemon trees as well as a beautiful variety of flowers and plants.
The pool terrace, complete with 8 sun lougers houses a 52 square meter pool. The adjoining kitchen terrace has an outside table for 10 from which one can look out over the algarve coast. The tennis court is again set amoungst the flowers at the back of the villa and has a playdeck type surface.
Coast/Beach
Golden beaches stretch for 40 miles and a 15 minute trip brings you to the nearest at Vilamoura. A large water slide park is approximately 15 minutes by road and the marina in vilamoura offers watersports and many restaurants.
Golf
Great access to Villa Sol and Vilamoura courses (approx. 15 minutes by car). Also Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago nearby. Penina and Palmares approx. 30 minutes away.
Travel
Villa is 1/2 hour from Faro airport by car. Car hire is recommended.
Distances
Local villages of Picota, Parragil, Sau Faustino, and Alfontes all within 1 mile. The largest local town is Loule, 10 minutes away by car.
