Casa dos Leoes is a holiday villa situated in a small village surrounded by picturesque countryside, just a few miles north of the Algarve coast. The villa's private pool and gardens provide a secluded and relaxing retreat with a BBQ for casual dining. The small seaside town of Armacao de Pera with its beautiful sandy beaches is nearby, the busier resort of Albufeira is about 20 mins drive away. To help ensure that your holiday at our villa is trouble free our manageress, Maria, is available to assist with any problems that may arise with the villa and will normally meet on you on arrival at Casa dos Leoes. Her contact details are in the Information File at the villa. In addition, to ease the 1st day of your holiday we offer an optional service to deliver some basic grocery shopping for your arrival. This can be arranged after your booking is confirmed and payment will be direct to Maria at the villa.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property are per week in UK Pounds. Euros may be accepted with prior arrangement.
Save £100 per week for 2 person only occupancy.
Our usual changeover day is Saturday. However, do please contact us to discuss other arrangements as we try to be flexible.
Changeover day
We can be flexible about the changeover day, with prior consultation, so please do contact us to discuss this. Guests can usually expect to arrive after 14:00 on arrival day and are requested to vacate by 10:00 on morning of departure.

Towels and bed linen are included. There is a maid service to clean the villa twice a week (Wednesday and Saturday). Towels are changed twice a week, bed linen is changed once a week. |

Notes on accommodation
Children are welcome at the villa, however please note that the pool area is not fenced off.
Outside
Private gardens with lawn areas and patios around the pool. Loungers and patio tables and chairs provided. Poolside BBQ. Pool and patios floodlit. The pool measures 33' x 16' and is 2m at it's deep end. Heating can be provided by prior arrangement and will be charged seperately. Separate towels are provided for pool use and are changed on Saturdays.
Coast/Beach
Local sandy beaches at Armacao de Pera about 10 minutes drive to the south. Range of Algarve beach resorts within 20-30 minutes drive means there is something for everyone within reasonable driving distance.
Golf
Salgados, 18 hole, par 72, 6,080 metres. No handicap certificate required. On the the coast road between Albufeira and Armacao de Pera approx 15-20 mins from villa.
Gramacho (18 holes) and Vale de Pinta, (18 holes), par 71, 6,152 metres. Handicap certificates: maximum men 27, ladies 35. Near Carvoeiro, south west of Logoa, approx 25 mins from villa. The villa is approximately 35 mins from Vilamoura golf courses.
Travel
Faro airport is about 45 minutes by car. Car hire is essential. Directions from Faro Airport to the villa will be sent after full payment has been received. Car hire can be arranged via the villa's owners.
Distances
Alcantarilha is about 4 miles away. To the West of the villa the town of Silves is 10 mins drive, Lagoa 15 mins, Portimao about 30 mins, Lagos 45 mins. To the East Guia about 10 mins and Loule about 30 mins. Vilamoura on the coast, about 30 mins.
Further details
A mile down the road at Alcantarilha-Gare is a minimarket and restaurant. Alcantarilha has various restaurants, a post office and small shops. The large shopping mall at Guia has late night opening at the supermarket, plus a cinema, bowling and restaurants. The beautiful old Moorish town of Silves has steep cobbled streets, the old castle, river and assorted shops and restaurants. Everyday except Sundays a baker's van gives a toot and stops outside the villa. Tuesdays and Fridays a fish van calls by - sardines for the bbq recommended.
Booking notes
A deposit of 25% will be required and should reach me within 10 days of a provisional booking being arranged.
Confirmation of your booking will be issued upon receipt of your 25% deposit. The balance due must be paid at least 2 calendar months before your date of departure. Payment preferred in pounds sterling. Euros may be accepted by prior arrangement.
