There are 4 swimming pools, jacuzzi, snack bars, 2 restaurants, mini golf and tennis. The Old Town of Albufeira with its extensive shopping, bars, nightlife, restaurants and the famous Fisherman's Beach is less than 5 mins away by taxi (5 euros) or by the courtesy minibus from reception. It is also ideally located for the numerous golf courses nearby and for exploring beyond Albufeira, throughout the Algarve and into Southern Portugal and Spain.

Notes on accommodation
Pets are not permissible. Smoking permitted outside the property. Air-conditioning is available in the bedrooms for a supplement, payable locally. Internet access at reception but can be provided within the apartment. Please enquire.
Outside
There is a small balcony leading from the main bedroom and a large sun facing balcony accessed from the lounge. This is furnished with sun table and chairs and umbrella. The complex has four marvellous pools with separate children's pools, with jacuzzi and sun bathing terraces. There are adjoining snack bars open throughout the day.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful and famous Fishermans Beach in Albufeira is less than 5 mins drive away (approx 1.5kms) but the Algarve coastline has numerous small, hidden away coves or long expanses of golden sand, all within minutes drive of Albufeira.
Golf
The Algarve offers some of the best courses in Europe and Club Albufeira is ideally located for all of them. Salgados beach course and Balaia are just 5 mins drive away and the Vilamoura courses are 20 mins drive. The furthest courses at Penina and near Lagos are 45 minutes max.
Travel
Club Albufeira is situated 35 kms from FARO airport - a 35 minute journey by motorway.Car hire is not essential as the complex is so close to the old town of Albufeira and all its facilities and taxis are very cheap. Car hire is only recommended if you wish to explore the rest of the Algarve or even Lisbon and Seville which are approx 2.5 - 3 hours drive.
Distances
Albufeira is in the middle of the Algarve coastline, so the far western and far eastern points of the Algarve can be reached in approx 45 minutes.The old town of Albufeira has quaint cobbled streets and a central square providing street musicians and entertainers daily. The once capital of the Algarve, Silves is an interesting and historical town, just 20 minutes drive. For a relaxing day out, visit Monchique, an old spa town, nestling in the hills inland from the Algarve.
Further details
There is a small supermarket on site, but in order to make your arrival as relaxed as possible, we can arrange for a stock up of groceries to be provided for you - these will be purchased at the largest supermarket in Albufeira and there is no charge for this service, other than the cost of the groceries which will be accompanied by the itemised till receipt, payable on arrival. We can also organise a minibus transfer to and from Faro airport which costs 30 euros for up to 4 people each way and 50 euros for 5-8 people each way.
Booking notes
A booking deposit of 25% of the total rental cost is required at the time of booking, with the balance being due eight weeks before departure.

I would like to agree with previous favourable reviews of this apartment and add a couple of points.
In addition to being every bit as good as it looks in the pictures - the owner kindly provides idiot proof directions from the airport and will get in groceries for you in advance at no extra cost.
We have just returned from a great 10 night stay in this apartment. I wold agree with the previous review regarding the quality of the apartment which is obviously well cared for and maintained and looks exactly as advertised. The owners provided a shopping service prior to our arrival, booked our airport transfers and even dropped us off in the old town on the day we were leaving- they even provided a cool bag,beach towels and buckets and spades.The complex itself was immaculate, pool areas clean with lifeguards at all three of the pools. We ate regularly at the on site restaurant staff were friendly and the food excellent and good value for money.
