Casa do Cerro, is a large three bedroomed, air conditioned, two storey villa set in its own grounds in the inland central Algarve, Portugal. Casa do Cerro is located just to the east of the town of Sao-Bras de Alportel, and on the road to Tavira. Loule is also close by with its busy market and excellent shopping, bars and restaurants. Car hire is essential.

Changeover day
Preferred change over day is Saturday, but we can be flexible. Arrival time not before 4pm, check out time 10am.

Notes on accommodation
All of our bedrooms are now fully air-conditioned and heated. Not suitable for the disabled as access is over two floors. Prior notice required for very young children.

Outside
The sun terrace with its dining table and chairs and shady pergola is accessed from the lounge for those alfresco meals or quiet evening drinks, a barbecue is also provided here. Your private pool is 8 metres long by 4 metres wide and has a cool shower alongside. Loungers and parasols are provided poolside. A traditional Portuguese barbecue is also located here. A short walk, (less than a minute), away is a bar with a restaurant, which has a tennis court and much larger communal pool available.
Coast/Beach
The best beaches on the Algarve are to the east of the fishing town of Olhao and stretch all the way to Spain. The beaches at Manta Rota east of Tavira are simply stunning. A twenty to thirty minute drive through the breathtaking Algarve hills will get you there.
Golf
For the golfers the "Golden triangle" which surrounds the world championship golf course such as Vale de Lobo and Quinta do Lago is also about twenty minutes drive away.
Travel
10 minutes from the motorway and twenty minutes from Faro International Airport means that nowhere is very far away. Spain is less than half an hour away with Seville and Lisbon also with comfortable driving distance. Car hire is essential.

‘I would like to thank you very much for allowing us to rent your beautiful villa for the week. The villa is fantastic and the pictures you have in your brochure and on the website just don't do it justice. We were all surprised as it is much bigger than it appears in the pictures. We found everything we needed and more supplied, you've definitely prepared for any eventuality. The pool and garden were both more than expected and we all felt at home. It is a very well presented and well maintained property and we will definitely be booking again. Your representative, Judite, was fantastic and was most accommodating and helpful for us. Please pass on our thanks once again to her. All in all we had a wonderful stay and felt the villa was also a place to relax and enjoy rather than just to be a base to return to at the end of the day.
