Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in euros. We can also accommodate for shorter periods.

Changeover day
Our preferred change over days are the Saturdays. However in mid and low season we are much more flexible about this.

Manoir (5 Bedrooms - Sleeps up to 14)

One bedroom with Kingsize bed (Colonial Portueguese style). Four bedrooms with double bed. We can add different bunk beds in different rooms. We have 3 baby cribs. We have five bathrooms, all recently renovated. Kitchen with oven, large stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, toaster, coffee machines (filter and espresso) 4 sinks in the 65m2 all inox semi professional kitchen. Large living room with fireplace. Two large couches, large wooden table seating 6. Dining room. We supply towels and linen. This will be changed once a week or more often upon request. Maid service upon request, frequency is flexible.

Villa (5 Bedrooms - Sleeps 9)

Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with double bed. Bedroom 3 with twin beds. Bedroom 4 with twin beds. Bedroom 5 with single bed. (3 of the bedrooms have TV) Bathroom 1, bath, shower in bath, toilet. Bathroom 2 is the same. bathroom 3 with shower and toilet. Kitchen with 4 plates, oven, microwave, new fridge, many utensils, spacious, separate entrance. Dining table. Living room with fire place. Reading room. During the stay the property will not be cleaned. We do have maid service available though for 8 euros/hour. We provide linen and towels at the beginning of the stay. The house has recently been completely renovated, respecting traditional values. It is spacious and cool during summer, warm during winter with a very large fire place.

Very suitable for children.

Outside
The houses are surrounded by 70 ha of private property. There are two swimming pools, one large one for adults 17m x 8m and a kids pool, much smaller but on the same site. There are also different farm animals, mini golf, complementary bicycles, ping pong, table football, horseback riding, walking tours, wine tasting, etc ... Our guests can also go horseback riding or participate in the agricultural life and work with the team.

Coast/Beach
The Atlantic Ocean is about one hour by car from the Quinta dos Ribeiros. However, the river Tejo (Tagus ?) is about 20 min where one can swim in the artificial lakes.

Golf
The local golf course is Ammaia, a really beautifull 18 hole course under the walls of the fortified town of Marvao located in the nature reserve of the Serra Mamede. The course is 17km away, about 15 minutes by car. We can offer our guests preferential green fees both on weekdays and in the weekend !

Special interest holidays
We can organise for horseback riding and/or golf holidays with the nearby spectacular Ammaia GC and our own horses.

Travel
The nearest airport is the Lisbon International airport which is maximum drive time of 2 hours away. It is essential to hire a car.

Further details
The area is well known for it's gastronomical values. In the village there are some excellent restaurants that cater until late (kitchen closes at 22.00 'o clock only). We also arrange visits to the local sausage factory or to the cheese factory. There is a bank with cash distributor in the village and in many villages close by. The area is of great cultural and historical intrest. The environment is beautiful with many old oak and olive trees. The nature reserve of the Serra Mamede is close by so one can go hiking, biking or birdwatching.
